As an eye specialist, you would think that they would care about people who are experiencing trouble with either or both of their eyes- not today. So, it's off to continue to search for an ophthalmologist that honestly cares about our eyes.

I just called there to get a copy of my records sent to a specialist and wants to charge me $25. This man is money hungry in every way I was told by one of the surgeons that fixed my surgery. The technician said Dr. FRANGIE is the second doctor that they have to fix his mistakes. Don't go there he's all about the money, not about the person well-being

Longwood operates pretty efficiently. HOWEVER, DO NOT pay your copay in cash. Even though I took a receipt every time I paid cash, as that is an open invitation for "sticky fingers" if I didn't, they are still billing me for my copay for two visits, which I don't owe. This has never happened to me anywhere before. I believe the billing is handled at another location. Other than that I would highly recommend them.

I am here to say that both are very happy with his work and recommendations. My wife is JUST out of surgery so will revisit Yelp along the way. BTW: the other person who writes saying anything about the office is not 100% accurate, they are very accommodating although it is a busy office so wait times (as with most after 10:00 appointments go) are a bit long. Any of the staff preforming tests on either of them are very accommodating (one of the machines looking/picturing into the eye explained a ton what we were looking at) and the flow thru the office goes smooth once you get out of the gate. I don't know but is the wait time the Dr's or the Clinic they work for/with scheduling issue? I'd say Clinic as they are pushing for the bucks and numbers.

After my spouses surgery the doctor upon the next day visit was in my opinion rude and called him a baby for asking questions about his surgery. The doctor did not keep tabs on his eye pressure and when seeing another eye doctor was told pressure was high enough to cause eye loss. Had second surgery to correct what the surgeon did not do right. Doctors office to this day never followed up with call to see how their patient was. Would not recommend.

Yes, at 1:05 am, so irritated that I couldn't even sleep until I wrote this review. Yes, she has me that frustrated and upset. Why is a receptionist a fire wall between you and the doctor? The lovely woman I spoke with about 15 hours ago didn't want to allow me to see Dr. Kidd for a change to my prescription because I 1) couldn't be dilated (I am very sensitive to it and need to get a ride) and 2) I didn't want the eye numbing agent that is has an obscene amount of artificial yellow dye in it. I said, "Ok, well then maybe I should find a different doctor if what I'm uncomfortable with isn't OK?" She replied, "That probably would be best!" To whoever runs this practice - I would politely suggest you monitor your receptionists. You lost my ENTIRE FAMILY as patients with that one receptionist today. A receptionist who literally had me in tears after the call with how apathetic she was to me. (By the way. Do I *really* need all those tests? I explained that the optometrist said my eye pressure was severe and needed to be seen right away. Made no difference. She didn't care and the attitude was not helpful. I called another well known place and got right in, especially with my story. Come to find out, I have a severe problem. The doctor said I shouldn't have waited another minute. Needless to say, I canceled my appointment with Dr. Rosenthal. Horrible front office. George
