You will get the best care possible for your eyesight. I would never see any other doctor.

Absolutely terrible experience! I was a new patient at the Holyoke office and there for an…read more"evaluation". Upon check in, I was asked to electronically sign three 'forms' but was never showed the papers. So I really have no idea what I signed. While waiting for my appointment, the front desk staff gossiped and after waiting more than 30 minutes past my appointment time, I was finally brought to an exam room and my information was taken. I had called two days prior to my appointment to see exactly what would be done during the evaluation so I could call my insurance company to find out how much it would cost. The office told me I would be evaluated to see what further tests needed to be done and that no procedures or tests would be billed for that visit. When I got into the exam room, I was told I would get be dilated, have a digital image taken and get an exam. When I explained that I had called ahead of time and was told that nothing was going to be done, the assistant said "Well, somebody lied to you." A great way to begin a relationship with a new doctor.. by being lied to. A new assistant was sent in to explain to me that I was mistaken. Needless to say, I left and will never go back after this horrible experience.

Terrible! Plan on spending the day here. The check in system is a mess. They seem to be unable to…read moreretain information from one visit to the next. Arrived fifteen minutes early to wait for a half hour just to get checked in because it was necessary to repeat all the information that was given at the last visit, three months ago. Waited another half hour to be seen. I've been a patient here for years and never had a problem until Dr. Hutt retired. The entire practice took a nosedive and hasn't hit bottom yet. Very frustrated and will likely be seeking another provider. Interesting that you can watch your primary doctor send and confirm referrals but after a week you are told they haven't arrived yet. Do the faxes get stuck in the wires or what? I just sat and watched four people get that same routine from the receptionist. SMH...

Dr. Moriates is terrific. All of the staff I have met over the years have been great. My wife and…read moreI have been patients for over thirty years. I remain a patient even though I now live two hours away.

As I type this, I'm seeing on the right side of the screen other one star reviews ALL talking about…read more"the receptionist". Funny enough, that's also who brings me here today! Yes, at 1:05 am, so irritated that I couldn't even sleep until I wrote this review. Yes, she has me that frustrated and upset. Why is a receptionist a fire wall between you and the doctor? The lovely woman I spoke with about 15 hours ago didn't want to allow me to see Dr. Kidd for a change to my prescription because I 1) couldn't be dilated (I am very sensitive to it and need to get a ride) and 2) I didn't want the eye numbing agent that is has an obscene amount of artificial yellow dye in it. I said, "Ok, well then maybe I should find a different doctor if what I'm uncomfortable with isn't OK?" She replied, "That probably would be best!" To whoever runs this practice - I would politely suggest you monitor your receptionists. You lost my ENTIRE FAMILY as patients with that one receptionist today. A receptionist who literally had me in tears after the call with how apathetic she was to me. (By the way. Do I *really* need all those tests? I'm 42. and If I'm not comfortable with something, why are you going to force me?) My apologies to Dr. Kidd. I would have been happy to come see you again.
