This is where my family goes for our occasionally game nights. Sundays they have a special where it's dirt cheap and I don't feel bad for not finishing a complete game. I enjoy that that staff aren't hovering and don't bother you unless you need to be bothered. The cosmic Bowling was awesome. I enjoyed the music and there's food and drinks. I'm not great at bowling but do enjoy this family bowling place for all ages. They also have a lounge attached where you can enjoy drinks as the bar or you can take a pitcher to your lane.

There is a lot in this plaza/strip mall, and there seems to be a semi frequent turnover of tenants…read more For example, Crunch was there for awhile and left (and the space is still empty). Currently, there is a Mexican restaurant, Chinese restaurant, kids party/play business, a bowling ally the Jonnet Building (which hosts a variety of businesses including an events venue, nail and hair salons) and more. The biggest downfalls are that the parking lot isn't all that well maintained and has an odd design. There are potholes everywhere, and some of them are really large. The parking spots are also at odd angles that people seem to be confused about. You have to be driving the right direction to get into the spaces, and sometime a car will spend a bunch of time trying to maneuver into the space instead of just driving around and coming in at the right angle. If you have to exit onto Center, good luck. It is a really busy street and cars don't generally want to let you in, especially during peak hours.

There has been a change over of stores and restaurants over time here. Once housing a Office Depot and Lone Star Steakhouse they have been replaced by a fitness center and Mexican restaurant. To note, behind a majority of this strip of stores is a bowling alley as well. However, even with the changeover of stores and restaurants this plaza has seemed to survive over time. The Jonnet Building houses offices, doctors, and a few other things. There is an Enterprise Car Rental spot as well. This sits at a very busy intersection in Monroeville which feeds the plaza with customers on a steady basis. Can't really categorize this as a mall, but it does fill a shopping need as well as a service need.

New to Pittsburgh in 2019 & having prior knowledge of duckpin lanes existing in Pittsburgh…read more robinsweb.com/duckpin when searching for duckpin lanes in Memphis after moving from Mass. None are available surrounding Memphis & struck out never thinking upon duckpin until living here. One night when experiencing boredom with nothing happening & recalling duckpin's presence. My google search led me here & decided to leave & experience an old childhood joy not experienced since 2015. Upon entry & taking notice of their nostalgic decor. It made me reminisce spending time Saturday mornings & bowling with Walco's youth league for 6 years (87-93). Number of lanes here are reasonable but I would find quieter times myself for a bowling session. Becoming spoiled by modern technology offered by newer or upgraded lanes. Old school pencil & bowling sheets put me off a second until becoming reacquainted with manual scoring again. According to my observations, employees keep lanes maintained to adequate standards including superb waxed lanes & unwarped wood. In comparison to other lanes their in house balls have minimal chipping, maintaining smoothness & fine gloss without moisturizing dry balls with wet rags everytime. Customer service impressed me with their kindness assisting me with beginning my bowling experience, receiving my shoes & assigning me a lane fast. Beyond their counter service pride in maintaining cleanliness inside the building & bowlers seating areas impress me anticipating future visits & pleasurable relaxing bowling experiences. Glassport Lanes is cash only & an ATM is available across the street at Carol's Cafe. No food or drinks sold here & suggest gabbing cold ones or delicious food from Carol's Cafe or use any food delivery apps.
