I had the salmon dinner (happy the OG salmon meal is back) and it was fantastic. My husband had a burger and said it was great. He had a beer and I had the perfect pink margarita. Our server was fantastic, unfortunately I don't recall her name but she's been there forever! We ate in the gaming room at a table near the bar, it wasn't super busy but the again it was a cold Wednesday night. The bathrooms could be cleaner (only complaint).

It's sort-of hidden in a random strip mall, but there are so many cool things inside. Definitely worth visiting on a regular basis. The laser tag is TERRIFIC. It had accurate (or accurate enough) guns, a good arena, fun decorations, and detailed scoring. The indoor playground is great, and even though my kids are "older," they thought ballocity and the inflatables set up when we visited looked like fun, and we're planning to go back soon so they can play there. There's a good variety of food and candy available to purchase. The arcade is packed with entertaining games, but not crowded. The ticket redemption counter/room also has a lot of tempting prizes! The people working here are terrific, too. We got a tour, and all of my very-inquisitive son's questions were answered. I highly recommend this business for parties, rainy days, too-hot days, too-cold days, kid get-togethers, family fun, etc.

I was a bit skeptical about Putt Shack because I had heard many mixed reviews and know it is a…read morelarge corporate chain. I finally visited for the first time in late June and was pleasantly surprised at what a fun time we had. You can either register online prior to your arrival or you can use one of their ipads to register. Each player gets a golf ball that is individually coded to them. So it tracks every stroke you take (no cheating) and automatically adds the score (including bonus points on some holes). One nice thing is that you can skip around if there are lines at the holes. This is really helpful especially if you are there with a group. They also have tables throughout the course that let you place your drink down. You do need to pay attention to make sure you stay on your own course because the two courses are right next to each other. If your ball suddenly isn't registering, it is probably because you are on the wrong course. Food is pretty tasty (although a little overpriced). You can eat any time and they have an option that you can order food before you golf and have it ready for when you are done (but I imagine it could get difficult to try and time that correctly), There is metered street parking right outside and a large surface lot behind the building. Overall a fun place to take your family or a unique date night.

It appeared most people were putting not so much eating. We played nine holes and I could have easily stayed for another nine. It is pricey for four people. The ball is digitally assigned to each person. There is no keeping track of the score. Every time you put the ball on the tee the computer recognizes you.

The clanging of electro-mechanical pinball machines harmonizes with the music and sounds of their more modern counterparts. You're immediately greeted with a desk, and a handful of faithful volunteers, who devote their valuable time to make the World Pinball Championship a resounding success year after year. A quick tour of the facility reminds you of where you are. This isn't some second rate arcade, nor is it a first rate arcade... You aren't in someone's basement, nor are you in somebody's private arcade. This is the real deal, and the facility reminds you of that everywhere you go. As you make your way left, there are rows of pinball machines. A quick step down and you are on the delightfully tacky carpet, staring at the machines used for the B and A division of the championship. (Advanced and World Class divisions, respectively) As you stroll further to your left, there is an endless supply of pinball machines, ranging from the very rare "Cactus Canyon," to the all too common "The Addam's Family," to the so obscure I wish it didn't exist at all "Shaq Attaq." The poor bartender had to run all over the restaurant. He had to ring you up, make drinks, bring people their food, fix their games and handle any drama that came up on the games. He was so nice and gave great service. The French fries with cheese,, bbq and fried chicken was good. I love a lot of condiments normally but this was a bit much. I enjoyed it but would have preferred a fried chicken sandwich. My husband said the fried chicken and Seasoned Crinkle Fries were excellent. Kennywood is an amusement park that was founded in 1898 and is now a National Historic Landmark…read more The park contains dozens of rides and attractions (e.g., bumper cars, swings, roller coasters, Noah's Ark, merry-go-round, and paddle boats), dozens of casual restaurants, gift shops, holiday events, and more for adults and children. When I was a child, I visited Kennywood to ride the nostalgic and modern rides. Now that I am older, I visit the park just for Halloween and Christmas events, a work party for my husband's employer, etcetera. During our most recent visit, my husband and I attended a company party in a pavilion. When we arrived at the park, we had to stand in a line that was longer than other lines, so I would like to see that line handled more efficiently. The pavilion was a large size and accommodated the employees. I was told that Kennywood provided the catering, which consisted of chicken tenders, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, grilled chicken, fruit salad, hotdogs, hamburgers, cookies, etcetera. I rate the flavors of these foods as 4 stars overall.
