Unprofessional behavior -- we purchased a house last fall and Verani employed the selling agents…read more One of the two agents was the SON of the seller and this was never disclosed. He even showed up to the inspection and was clearly eavesdropping on every conversation he could. We only put two and two together when we saw his name (he was one of two agents selling -- I think shadowing?) and googled it. Lo and behold he was a resident (if not current in the previous 2 years at least) of the home and the adult son of the sellers! No one had said a darn thing. He didn't introduce himself as the son, and the other Verani agent present said absolutely nothing about it. Talk about lack of transparency of any kind at all!! The shadowy behavior of non disclosure was unacceptable. We notified our agent and he too was floored. Be very careful as a buyer. This lack of professionalism was severely disappointing.

This is the fourth home I have purchased and, having worked with multiple attorneys and title companies in the past, I could not have been more disappointed with Monarch's service. To start, the Monarch processor/paralegal contacted me from an email address that looked like a spam message -- as it gave only the individual's first name and no indication they were from Monarch - and they neglected to include my realty team on the correspondence. Throughout my interaction with Monarch, their behavior was careless and unprofessional, including repeatedly forgetting to include referenced attachments on emails. For example, I have a trust and submitted the trust documents to the Monarch attorney for their review, but Monarch never responded; if I had not contacted them to confirm the documents were acceptable, I doubt I would have ever heard back. In addition, I emailed the Monarch processor/paralegal requesting the timeline to transfer funds for the closing, and again I never received a response. Only after I contacted a supervisor at Monarch did anyone from Monarch respond, and even then, they failed to give me the information I needed. In fact, due to Monarch's failure, I had to scramble and get an additional check from the bank on the day of closing. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against using Monarch Title Services LLC for any realty transaction.
