There is no way that any review, no matter how golden, will ever do justice to Ryan Hvizda's capability as a real estate agent. The short version is that Ryan is exceptionally dependable, flexible, supportive, knowledgeable, and ethical.
We were first-time buyers, looking to buy a "forever home". This meant that we had no prior experience, and a lot was at stake. I truly can't imagine having gone through the process with any other team. Every step of the way, Ryan was knowledgeable and supportive, kind, intuitive and dedicated. My husband and I frequently thank our lucky stars that fate put Ryan in our lives; I can truly say that we would not have found our forever home without her.
Ryan has assembled a star-studded team. Before we came to Ryan, we had begun a mortgage application with a big bank which soon became unresponsive; it had been about 3 weeks since we had heard from them, despite many emails. In a wildly competitive market, not being pre-cleared for homes is a huge hindrance. When we told Ryan, she put us in touch with a contact she had at a local bank, and we were pre cleared for homes in only 3 business days. Our transaction coordinator was a model of efficiency, and was a spectacular communicator, maneuvering smoothly between both parties. Likewise, the septic and the home inspector that Ryan recommended knocked our socks off, the same was true of our title company. It seems that Ryan has professional relationships with the entire state, and she uses this incredible network to ensure that her clients are always given the very best of the best.
Ryan's knowledge and expertise is unparalleled. When we were looking for houses, covid-19 began, and there was an unprecedented demand for houses. Houses were listed for sale, and within hours, they would receive multiple offers. During this time, Ryan not only managed to find us our dream house, she got it for us for a completely reasonable price, by sourcing us an off-market house. Our house fits every single one of our crazy and hyper-specific criteria!
Ryan's ethical compass points straight north at ALL times. As first time homebuyers, it would have been so easy for Ryan to allow us to convince ourselves that an overpriced home was a bargain. There were many houses that we stumbled into, thinking desperately that maybe they would work for us, even though they were at the top half of our budget. Ryan was so polite and kind, and would point out to work that would need to be done, and explained the cost of the work to us, as well as the true value of the house. In the end, the house she helped us buy was about 100k less than other houses we had looked at, and required much less work.
She has a spectacular superpower for making you feel like you are her only client. We were commuting back and forth for house tours from Vermont. Because we were both working, our schedule was tight, and often times, we weren't great about giving notice. Without fail, Ryan booked appointments that worked with our wild schedules, took all of our calls and held our hands as I flustered and panicked. I have no idea how she manages to provide this amount of personal attention to each of her clientele, but it's truly miraculous. Ryan's calming presence was vital for us making informed, rational choices. My husband and I were terrified of the idea of renting so we were looking to buy quickly; I'm always the first person to hit a panic button. I have thousands of anxiety-riddled questions about every aspect. Ryan was exceptionally patient, addressing each one of my questions promptly and sincerely.
As with anything, the truest testimony is a referral to one's mother... We loved Ryan so much that shortly after we bought our house, we recommended her to my mother, who was also looking to move.... Now, my mother and I frequently exchange texts that look along the lines of:
"Ryan is a genius!!!!"
"I know, mom. read more
