It may…read morehave been my first time here, but I am aware Pastor Benny's been preaching for 40 years and is still going strong. I have been following him on social media for a couple months, and now I finally get to see him preach in person. Let me say, he's everything he appears to be, which is genuine and raw. He delivers the word as is and is bold enough to say what needs to be said or made aware of whether that is the word or crucial events around our modern day world that relates to the word. I'm a seeker of sincerity and truth, and once having been a skeptic of the word and it's teachings, I went through so much negativity in my life without knowing why, trying to find inspiration, guidance, motivation, and direction from every possible source (besides the holy trinity and bible) such as from a stash of new age collections to Buddhism to putting some friends on pedestals of inspiration... To the times I tried getting empowered with inspiration for life through media like video games, films, cartoons, and shows.... To overdosing myself with motivational quotes or vloggers/gurus from YouTube or watching several insightful videos like travel vlogging to cooking to peoples' storytime videos.... To immersing myself in sports... Yeah I can go on and on. I burnt myself out trying everything I could at those times, but nothing worked. Everyday I continued to drown myself further in depression, self abuse, suicidal thoughts, and impulsive actions, sometimes not even knowing why. Regardless of what I did to combat these through every means or distraction listed, little did I know that all I needed was faith in Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Ghost. As a former skeptic I seriously questioned why none of what I tried worked in all the years that I tried it, but why after stepping into Faith and Jesus, my life suddenly started taking color, motion, and health again. With much observation and growth, I realize the word and holy trinity are very real. Also unlike some modern Christian outlets where they often preach "you can do it, you're the best!" type of speeches which is basically over the top sugarcoated nonsense, (which I also tried and it did not help no matter how many times I listened) Pastor Benny gives it to you straight and organically as God intended. It is the real deal, and as a newborn Christian who is still learning the best I can but still knows when someone isn't messing around, I can confirm Pastor Benny's preaching is as sincere as it can get, and he does so clearly. Listening to him preach helped me learn more about the word, and learning while applying what I've learned with my spiritual practice of prayer is what saved me after being baptized during a crucial moment in my life. Aside from this I notice the first reviewer has complaints about the staff. I think things improved since then since everyone there was so welcoming and kind, and a point to be made... Go to church to learn if you know it's a good place to learn, and don't turn away from gold even if there's some dirt lying around it for the time being. I learned the hard way not to take good things for granted, and well... This place is unquestionably good with what is delivered in terms of knowledge. Also just a quick note, I learned from today's service that they're changing their name to LoveWorldUSA starting July 1st 2017 where more info. will be announced. And USA will be the 7th network! These people are hardcore dedicated going through the effort to do this and much more. I've been touched by Pastor Benny's preaching and his ministry's ever growing effort to save others.
Update: It's nearing the end of August 2017 and I still come here. Through openness towards Jesus and progress in growth and patience, I felt a heavy anointing in the meeting. Also, some people complain about sowing seed (giving money), but they need to remember that this is a nonprofit organization and without donations all the crusades and ability to air on TV let alone even have this building won't be possible. Pastor Benny even said himself that he made his own fair share of donations, which the Lord always returns to him in one way or another. That may sound absurd but it's an experience you won't fully know unless it personally happened to you too. People have different reasons for sowing seed. As for me I simply sow because I support his crusades and sermons. If Pastor Benny truly was in it only for money and greed, that anointing wouldn't even be in the room... And that's exactly why I go. You know they are doing something good in the meeting when God's presence is there!
