In the past several years, they have really focused on the surge/demand model, where a ride that could cost at low demand time $10, could be $90 at peak times....it's incredible !!! When we arrive at the airport and need a ride home, we open both Uber and Lyft to check both rates....also, I check for the bus schedule to see if the express bus is coming soon....and I also consider calling a cab. Cabs charge by the mileage, so they are a better option when dealing with Uber's peak time/surge pricing. Please do your homework. I always have the phone number of a taxi company on my phone as well.

You're at the mercy of them charging you even if you have credits and they didn't apply them. Getting a hold of customer service is difficult. You have to jump the hurdle of the chat bot and a live agent is only available over chat. The live agents rarely resolve your issue. I've had to go through my bank several times for disputes. It's exhausting and makes me anxious when I consider ordering transportation from them again.

They had to valet their car without knowing where it was going. When they arrive at Logan after their flight, they have to go to the parking garage and find a valet.
