What smug hubris. I wasnt heard at all. What is a tragedy is paying $100 dollars to repair a tooth on my upper denture for it to break, again, 2 DAYS later. I am that glad he is not an MD, he would be perfectly fine with telling me what to do with my uterus. Midwest Dental at any office has lost my business.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have "dentist phobia" and let them know that upfront. The staff understood and was very calming and gentle! The exam was thorough and as painless as possible. They have state-of-the-art equipment - which is why they are 4-star instead of 5! When making the appointment I confirmed they were covered by our insurance (they are premium providers) and the exam/cleaning/xrays would be covered. It was confirmed at 100% coverage. The state-of-the-art panoramic x-ray was not covered at 100% - leaving me with a payment due. It is not a huge bill, all things considered, however, I feel this should be told to patients upfront with the option to decline it or told the estimated amount that would be due. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Bertotto and her office. And...yes, I made my appointment for my 6-month cleaning.

I have gotten fillings and cleanings here and it's always been, well, about as comfortable as…read moredental work can be I have never been mistreated and the staff are very accommodating. The building itself is really nice. Every room has a TV that shows what's on the computer, so you can see your bitewing X-rays as they come in. Once you lay back, there's a TV on the ceiling you can watch, with no sound if I remember right, but subtitles are on, which I kinda prefer in this case.

I really appreciated the quick x-Ray results that pop up on the large screen so you can see everything right away. It was kind of terrifying to see everything up close but very helpful nevertheless. My hygienist was very thorough and personable. She explained everything before she started working on the next area so there were no surprises. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. The dentist was great too but he did remove his mask towards the end while standing up and explained my treatment plan. He did maintain distance but was still in the room with me so that made me a little uncomfortable. I also wished they could elaborate more on preventive measure for future reference in addition to treatment. Overall, I am satisfied with my first cleaning visit here and will return for appointments.
