So it's confusing to now see that documentation is being requested publicly. The photo attached to my original review was taken immediately after the service. In that image, you can see that some lashes were not properly isolated and several were not lifted upward evenly. Additionally, the rods were in place for the duration of the 1.5-hour appointment while the facial, dermaplaning, and extractions were being performed. I understand policies exist, but the experience itself, both during the service and in the follow-up communication, is why I felt compelled to leave my review. Clients deserve to feel heard and taken seriously, especially when a medical issue follows a treatment. Ultimately, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this business.

I thought my wife was long over due to be pampered at a Spa. Imagine my surprise when I was looking for Spa's that Amita Holistic Spa was up and running again. This was joyous news indeed. I called the number and spoke with Sumita. Once again she was wonderful and allowed for me to make special arrangements in person. I met her at her new location and I couldn't believe how inviting, relaxing and peaceful it was. I am so happy for you to have found such a nice tranquil place to take care of us. Sumita listened to my request and took care of everything very quickly. I was anxious because I had to wait a week ( by choice ) for my wife's special day. Sumita greeted us outside her Spa and you could just feel the positive energy coming from her. It was almost palpable. She led us to the back of her entrance through a heavily planted yard, with fountains and statues. It was so relaxing and peaceful Sumita took my wife inside to enjoy her Sacred Makana Healing. I was allowed to stay in the yard and meditate. I had a nice experience just enjoying her yard. My wife came out shining and smelling wonderful. 3 days later my car still smells great. My wife said her experience was even better than the 1st time. My wife was relaxed, happy and pain free. We had a great weekend and it all started with Amita Holistic Spa. I later learned they go over your face twice deuring an appointment. They didn't for most of my appointments except the last one. When I asked Esther, she gave a flimsy excuse. So 90% of my treatments were incomplete. They took a "Before" photo but not an After. Why? Because Pico didn't improve my scars at all, so there wasn't enough dramatic improvement to sell this service. A year or two later, I got sucked into a second treatment series when Esther exclaimed how my skin looked "so improved!" Again a Before photo but no after one, because there wasn't any improvement. In the last year I noticed this aesthetic clinic was no longer pushing Pico. When I asked Esther about it, she couldn't look me in the eye when she said "they weren't offering that service right now" and the "Pico machine was being serviced." But for a year or thereabouts? Pico might work for tattoo removal or for rejuvenating good skin with no acne scars. But it never worked for me, and no After photos were taken because again I didn't get the desired dramatic results which would help sell this service. The fact that this aesthetic clinic is not offering Pico speaks volumes.

The comfortable spa table is prepped with a little steamer to get your face ready for treatment. The HydraFacial machine was explained to me. She also stated that if the process felt uncomfortable, I could alert her to adjust the pressure. The procedure helped to clean, exfoliate, and remove impurities from my skin. She then applied a serum of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The final application was sunscreen. While the untrained eye, probably couldn't SEE a difference after the HydraFacial, I could certainly FEEL the difference. Clean, fresh, and super rejuvenated! As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area. If you've never had a massage inside your mouth, try it! This helps to relax jaw muscles and many TMJ patients use this. Honey, you are worth it! Whether a special occasion or just because.
