Well that didn't happen! Everyone was having some small procedure done so I decided to try. That was it! Lol I loved my results then and love every single treatment I received! Professional, explains everything and office is clean. Strategized on what I'd like done this upcoming year and we have a plan! I love all my results because they are not overly done and if I want more I just return in 2 weeks to get a touch up. Staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. I came here twice, the first time I received treatment from someone (never got her name) and then I went back and was seen by Lehua. She was very unprofessional. This spa does not respect your time as all three times (I went to 2 appointments and 1 follow up) - I had to wait over 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time to be seen, they are also very disorganized and lack communication within their staff. Prices are very high. I was quoted $600 to do Botox on the crows feet and nose. I went to another spa and did the procedure for $300. Disclaimer: They do not charge by the number of units used, but the area. Just shady all around. Lehua threatened me in my appointment and I had to call the police unfortunately, then Lehua posted my personal contact information on her Instagram page and asked her followers to reach out and harass me. If you guys are not obligated to send me anything then do not promise your PAYING CUSTOMERS that you will email them something to read to give us a peace of mind!!!!!!! Mind you that I pay hundreds of dollars to get fillers done by you. And your poor negligence to try and redeem a unhappy customer is not my worthwhile anymore. I will not be returning AT ALL. I rather go to Dr. Shim Ching's office and pay even more. At least I know the staff there are VERY FRIENDLY and they take really good care of you. I feel like this place is all about making money. You come in for a service and when you get seated down in their chairs, they really push you towards getting other services done making you spend even more than what you initially came in there for. They try to speak very high in medical terms just to make you seem like they know what they're talking about. I mean, don't get me wrong, they know what they're saying but I feel like they also use it as a cover up. I apparently had a late reaction to the fillers I had in my cheeks from being on antibiotics and so I came here to get it checked out. They kept promising me that they would email me additional information about my situation to the fillers but never did what they said they would do. They try to make you feel "comfortable" by saying this and that but don't pull through. They only start to "act" when you say you'd write a negative review about them on Yelp. I go to Allure Laser Med Spa for their facials and I highly recommend their esthetician, Joy. I'm glad I signed up for their membership because it's really worth it. Joy will always welcome you with a smile, and that's even with a mask on because her eyes are smiling too. You'll know how passionate she is in what she does. I've had 5 facials with her and my skin never looked better. She always makes me feel so relaxed (I love her arm and hand massage -- which comes with her facials) and I always leave the spa with my skin glowing for days -- as per my husband too! Annoyed! Terrible service. This is such a shame because I love the doctors but I have had the worst experience lately. I called in December and was told there was no shipment and someone would call me when it was in. No one ever did. Here we are in June. For the last 2 weeks I have called and left 3 messages to make an appointment, no one ever returned my calls. I finally booked online this past Thursday night and the morning of my supposed appt was told last minute there is no shipment. Also no one ever confirmed my appointment online, it said pending approval so I never really knew if I really had an appointment or not. I even called the day before so I could confirm. Again, no one ever called me back. I always enjoyed going there but I will be finding somewhere else. read more

After visiting here, I realized that medspas are weird. I had to research the whole idea of tipping at a doctor's office since after my first charged appointment, they offered a tip option ranging from 10-25% of a $400 service. I wasn't expecting that when I was under the impression a nurse was doing my procedure. I tipped and the girl gave me a hug (insert thinking with hand on chin emoji) This location is also inconsistent. The front office staff see you enter and don't acknowledge you until you go to the desk which is like 5 feet from the door--they're busy on the computer. When I lay my bags down on their seats and finally go to the desk, it's as if they aren't expecting me with questions like 'What's your name' 'What's your last name' and 'Is this your first procedure or second?' I was the only one there, how many other people for this small office has an appointment at 330p? They even asked me if I paid for my four sessions already. Shouldn't they have this info? I wished they would read through my file before I come in for my treatment. I'm in the room with the nurse, and they'd be sifting through all the pages in my file for what machine to use, setting, etc while I'm just a sitting duck. One girl offered to try another machine and do a test spot on me, and I told her 'that's fine, but you know this is my last session right? If I came back that will be my 5th session -- will it still count as my 4th or do I pay?' 'Oh well actually nevermind, if this is your last session, it's your last--can't do a test spot. Let's just use the machine, should be fine' Even if the nurse didn't notice what session I was on and would have allowed me to come back, I wouldn't chance it. Who knows, they would've charged me for the next time, plus by that 4th session and all the weird interactions at previous sessions, I really didn't want to go back for a 5th time. From the laser experience, I did not have any results--my hair is darker and thicker than ever. Each time I went, a different machine was used on me or one girl does it different from another (one girl didn't even touch my skin with the laser at one session). One girl also had me walk from one end of the building to the other end to their second office to only have me walk back to the original office "oops, I should've checked on that before I made you walk to the other office huh?" Um yes. Note: Make sure you shave before any laser treatments. For my test run, they didn't mention anything about shaving and did the test with no shaving. The next time I came, they tell me 'oh you're supposed to have shaven' when I'm at the office instead of when they were on the phone with me 30 minutes prior. Guess what they charge for a shave--$25. The doctor is really nice, confident and knowledgeable and the place is cute, but the front desk help and nurses need better training or need to focus better? Whenever I talked to them, it's like talking to a deer in headlights just repeating the same script or maybe that's the Botox? Also it was a little weird to have kids running in and out of the back office. read more

I've been coming to Allure Laser Med Spa for a few years and have always been provided with great service from the Allure team. I appreciate that Dr. Lei takes the time to educate her patients prior to the procedure, talks you through what's happening during the procedure and always checks in to ensure you are comfortable. Safety is a top priority at the med spa, everything is sanitized and cleansed. Dr. Lei understands anatomy, listens to your concerns and can eloquently suggest the best treatment(s) to help achieve desired results. I made the mistake of trying another establishment which was closer to my house, assumed it would be good because of the name recognition. I wasn't happy with the results and didn't feel that their recommendation to resolve it was a good fit for me. Instead, I went to see Dr. Lei and she helped to correct the previous injectors work and I cannot be happier! I can't stress the importance of doing your research, going to safe, clean establishment. I am very hesitant to write this review bc of how nice the staff was. My first experience there was also my first experience having lip fillers. So I clearly was not aware of how much, in general, lip fillers averaged out. There they charge $1200+ for ONE SYRINGE. However, I ended up signing up for their plan, which also consisted of monthly payments (which sounded like a good idea at that time). I swear she had mentioned that I'd pay upfront $600, and charged $100, including tax & swipe fees every month there after, up until that $1200 was paid out. When I went in for my LAST installment payment (which I swear they have mentioned it would be in November & I am also able to cancel), they told me I could not cancel & that I still had to keep paying $100+ until that YEAR was done. & Out of nowhere, she mentions that If I choose not to pay, they can file a law suit against me & it will go to "collections"....which came from left field, & I clearly did not mention anything about NOT PAYING. But what made it more odd, was that I told her I was paying in cash yet she charged me for the Square app swipe fee. & when I went to clarify her re: the swipe charge, she says "oh yeah, I forgot". Don't get me wrong, they are all very sweet and other people may say otherwise from my opinions. And as far as my LIP RESULTS, they did not look like I've done anything at all with that one syringe (injected within 2 appointments) & fully healed. Although staff was very kind, I was NOT satisfied with my results Allure, given their expensive rates. & A couple weeks after my two appointments at Allure Laser Med Spa, I then went to Honolulu Med Spa (to see Courtney) & was able to accomplish the exactly lip result I wanted & it still looks full/filled even 5 months after seeing my second Dr. @ Honolulu med spa! I visited Allure based on a friends recommendation. I had never had Botox and was nervous to try. Monica was my tech and super sweet and personable. She walked me through the process and I decided to give it a try. Everything was great! I went back for my two week check up and she suggested a little more be added... it went well the first time so I figured why not. Unfortunately the injection was placed in the wrong spot or to much was used and I had an issue with my eye. It didn't close completely thank goodness, but became very heavy, uncomfortable, and unsightly. I called and they had me come back in for an RF treatment to help "break up the Botox" . This first treatment only made it worse and it was mentioned to me by a different nurse that they "should have waited at least two weeks to try anything". Regardless, we tried RF for a few sessions. It didn't really make a difference but I was appreciative that the Allure team was trying to help me feel better about the issue. Fast forward a couple months and I'm thinking about getting Botox again.. I know CRAZY... but I'm getting married and thought why not give it another try. I reached out to Allure through email 3 times requesting the dates of my service, specifically when the last injection happened that caused the issue and where exactly it was placed so I can avoid it in the future especially if I decide to go to a different provider. It's been well over a month and I hadn't heard anything so I called today. Initially the women I spoke to said she'd have someone call me back in 5 minutes. No one did so I called back a couple hours later. I spoke with someone who said they would email me my records if I signed a release. I asked her to email it. I didn't get the email but did get a call saying I had to come pick them up. Which is totally fine, so I planned to stop by on Monday. A couple hours later I get a call from the dr. Whom I've never spoken to prior, informing me that they will not be giving me any of the information I requested and if I wanted the records I could have them subpoenaed. I was in complete shock. Apparently where this is a elective procedure I have no rights to the notes, pictures or locations of injections in regards to my treatment. I was told "if you go to a experienced technician they should know what to do"... but wait, your technicians are experienced right? Anyway, this may be legit and I have no right to know where needles were placed in my face... however I didn't know that at the time of service and I think it's important knowledge to have. Lastly, I'm not sure why Dr. Lei became confrontational with me right away and mentioned legalities. I never mentioned anything about a legal issue.. there isn't one. I have had previous fillers and was completely impressed with how Dr. Akau talked to me prior to the procedure, did a full assessment on my lips and really explained to me throughly about the anatomy of my lips, any concerns, and exactly how she would be doing the filler. This has nothing to do with their esthetician services-I've had micro needling done by Kamai and she's amazing This has everything to do with their new primary care doctor service that they recently started. I figured I'd go here because I was looking for a doctor and I was comfortable with the staff. Went in and it was fine. They had me get labs and asked where to call in the orders to. The next morning I went in to get them done-waited 45 mins only to have the lab tell me they didn't have the orders. I had a micro needling appt a few days later so asked in person if they could resend the orders to the correct lab which they apologized and did. Went in and waited another 45 mins to get it done. Dr. Lei had me schedule an appt to get the results of the labs. The morning of the appt the staff called and asked if I could reschedule my morning appt to an afternoon appt which I couldn't bc I had work. I asked if she could call with the results that afternoon, and if I didn't answer to please just leave a message. Never got a call. I called the next day and they said she was busy but reassured me she would call with the results. I have never heard from her and have since called 5+ times/ left messages to get the results. It's been 3 months and I haven't gotten it. I feel like I wasted hours of my time for the appts and waiting for labs, along with bills from the labs to which I still don't have the results. I visited the Hilo location and I instantly felt welcomed and at ease. The reason for my visit was to do lips fillers. I had previously visited 2 highly recommended med spas, and I was completely embarrassed by the results that I was actually relived that due to COVID we are required to wear masks in public areas. It took ALOT for me to jump in and take the risk after such a bad experience. Dr. Lei and her staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Chanel had been extremely patient with me and the many questions I had and reassured me I would be in good hands. That was a complete under statement, because I was in the best hands there is out there. Dr. Lei educated me during the entire procedure and explained what she was doing the entire time. Most importantly asked me what my desire look was and on top of that entire experience was PAINLESS. The shape she started creating for me is more than I could hope for. She didn't try to inject the entire seringe at once, instead she used 1/4 of it and told me that it would be enough. We ended up saving the rest for a later time cause she wanted to assure I healed properly. That alone insured me that the care of her patients are of the utmost importance to her not just how many fillers she can sell. I wouldn't suggest any other Med spa. Okay so I don't usually take the time out of my day to go on yelp and write reviews but this is definitely one for the books... I've been following Allure Laser Med Spa on IG for quite some time, and from time to time I would ask questions to figure out if the procedures are something I would be willing to spend my money on. Dr Lei never hesitated to answer all of them in such a timely manner. Its crazy because i'm sure I wasn't the only one. When I finally asked for a consultation she immediately made me appointment that week. As soon as I walked through the doors it was nothing but love from all her amazing staff, they made me feel as if I was family. Sheri then took me in the room asked a few questions and gave my the breakdown, I decided that I wanted to move forward. Thinking I would have to go out make an appointment and come back, but instead she asked Dr Lei if she was able to see me and without hesitation she agreed. I was so nervous but excited at the same time. Vobella here I come! Dr Lei and Sheri helped me to be as comfortable as possible. Love this place! I have been here for multiple procedures. I have done a few different facials with Dr. Lehua to help with acne and scarring and she was amazing! She made me comfortable, she walked through each step as she was doing it, and the results have been amazing so far. I've also done laser hair removal with Ashlin who is the best! Pain free, super quick loving my results. I have pretty thick hair but their Versa machine works wonders and works quick to eliminate hair.
