There is no pretentiousness here, staff is always friendly and encourage people to try different classes. They have many different classes all the way from Tai-Chi to HIIT, and the most popular and numerous class Zumba! The classes are 45 min classes which suits your average Y member just fine. All of the instructors are very encouraging and nice! They have a gym area with a lot of cardio and weight machines, a small area in the back for all the hardcore types. They do not pump music into the gym area. They also have a Kinesis studio and a cycle room. All areas including the locker rooms are very clean and well kept. Free childcare is also offered! There is a small cafe in the lobby that is open during the day. The other gym on Tucker Ave is where the pool and indoor basketball courts are, they have a small gym there too, but it has older machines. The price is great; I pay $83 a month for a family membership. Many times during the year they offer free signup.

My reiki experience with Sonam helped me see my life from a different perspective. I never even…read moreheard of the word "reiki" until Sonam mentioned it over a casual conversation in her kitchen. I was still clueless and skeptical after her explanation, but I agreed when she graciously suggested I try it later that evening. Seeing my initial hesitation, Sonam was extremely attentive to my first experience by answering my questions beforehand. The 90-minute session flew by. I was peacefully asleep during the meditative phase and the discussion afterwards was enlightening and emotional. Sonam gave me the option of pulling cards, which confirmed many of her visions about my past. I was reintroduced to repressed memories that I thought had no influence on my daily actions, but now I understand how those past experiences shape me today. Reiki is still tough for me to explain. It's like introducing a fresh set of eyes on your entire life. Sharing your past requires extreme vulnerability, but I can't think of anyone better to trust with that responsibility. I feel much more conscious with my thoughts today; helping me make better life decisions for my family and myself. He is very knowledgeable about the area where we went (Delaware water gap) and knew the hiking trail well too. The hike was a moderate trail with some bigger hills up and down and a lot of rocks to watch your footing on. After the hike we were all hungry and ready for some beer. We stopped at Jersey Girl brewing where we all had flights and got a little tour of the place where all the action happens! The only criticism I have is with the lunch. It was very simple: chips, pickles, and homemade sandwiches with meat and cheese. There were a few vegetarian options but it was very heavy on the bread overall. I would love to see some kind of healthier alternative like a quinoa or lentil dish, which I would be happy to help with!

I have a strict budget around fitness/wellness classes so if it's not offered under my ClassPass I won't participate. Upon booking the poolside sound bath class for 7/7/25 at 7:30pm on a Monday; I invited a friend to meet me there. My friend does not have ClassPass, so I encouraged her to book through their website so we could go together.... Only to wake up the morning of to a cancelled reservation. So I called... No answer. Then I sent a message through Instagram and the owner responded promptly just to tell me that they mistakenly have availability out on ClassPass but do not accept bookings through this platform... How irresponsible?! There's always so many rules in place for lateness or no shows but what happens when the business is on the other side of this? No accountability taken whatsoever. People move things around in their schedules to show up and support businesses like this so not only did I feel like my time and money wasn't valued because "I'm a ClassPass member" but the owner had no remorse for her wrong doing of offering classes on CP to begin with. She was so worried about "filling tonight's class" that she wouldn't even look at the situation for what it was and accommodate us... All I asked was that my friend be either refunded or credited for the class since we couldn't go together anymore. This establishment is greedy! And the owner is very money hungry. I was offered a 50% off discount to book this one time after going back and forth... I honestly feel like it was only offered to shut me up. So I will NOT be using the discount code or supporting this business ever again.
