Great local performances by local musicians. Everyone should attend. Low cost concerts.

RPAC is…read moreawesome, albeit a bit pricey, but I don't think it's any pricier than other dance schools. Just like any school (academic or arts), there are teachers you may not love, but they're all very qualified. They have a wonderful holiday show and a recital at the end of the year. My daughter's been dancing there for 7 years and loves it more each year.

That would be fine if the place was good. Initially my child enjoyed class as the teacher was nice and encouraging. Payment for the entire year plus an additional costume fee for the spring recital which of course every parent wants to see their child(ren) in is due within 3 months of starting classes. All non-refundable. Now the class has become even worse, as the few students who have no attention span are completely disruptive and not improving in what would have been acceptable behavior in the beginning. The teacher who was nice in the beginning is no longer so pleasant. This could be understandable if she is frustrated by the lack of improvement but she spends all of her attention on one of the more disruptive kids and allows the kid's mother to come into the class (to help her kid?) further distracting the other kids. So now the place has collected all your money and you are stuck there for the rest of the year.

The lead characters were a hoot with their facial expressions and comedic talent. The music was memorable. When I got home I had to massage my face to get the smile off. We had good seats, but the theater is small and could be a bit claustrophobic if you're not on an aisle or near an exit.

This laugh out loud farce is a sequel to Ludwig's tony award winning "Lend me a Tenor". Creating a farce is often compared to the art of "Wok cooking". It is all about the preparation ! Assembling the right ingredients can result in an uproarious, madcap, experience! The play opens in the year 1936, in a luxurious Paris hotel suite! Henry Saunders, an overwrought impresario from Cleveland, is nervously awaiting the arrival of three world famous tenors, the stars of the biggest concert in Paris history. There are only hours left before the concert is to begin. At this point Saunders and his assistant Max see their dreams unravel! Their Swedish tenor abruptly quits , and now they must find a star quality replacement. The evening continues to disintegrate as we meet Tito an older world famous tenor who is afraid he is losing his charisma and fans to Carlo a young acclaimed tenor . Carlo is secretly romantically involved with Tito's wild & crazy daughter Mimi. Tito's hot tempered and passionate wife Maria constantly bickers with him and drives him crazy! Also in this wild and wacky farce are Beppo, an operatic bellhop, and Rakon, a hot to trot Russian soprano and former one night Stan of Tito. Doors slam, false accusations abound, and tempers and jealousy flare as the concert approaches without a missing tenor. The action and overreactions are hysterically funny and non stop. In the end the concert goes on and love conquers all! Another superb laugh a minute evening combined with audience participation and some charming operatic arias from the tenors... Beautifully staged, wonderful acting and a highly enjoyable evening! Kudos to BCP ,Howard, and the cast and crew!

They were very easy to work with and worked with our playlist to create a unique song list for our wedding. We had multiple guests tell us that they were the best wedding band that they had ever heard! They truly made the night so much fun for my (now) husband and I and all of our guests!

Our wedding at the Metropolitan Club in NYC on May 18, 2024 was an absolute DREAM, and we would recommend Bud and his team in a heartbeat again and again and AGAIN. From the moment we met Bud on Zoom and then when we saw Bud and his band live, I knew Bud's group was the one for my husband's and my special day!! Bud was an absolute joy to work with; he was extremely responsive, professional, and friendly. He is a master of his craft and exceptionally knowledgeable, yet is extremely approachable and has a wonderful sense of humor, which is always welcome during the wedding planning journey! When Bud referenced notes from our very first conversation a year and a half later (just a little under a month from our wedding), I was beyond impressed and truly touched. Bud and his group brought the BEST energy to our wedding day, and we are so grateful that we will look back on these memories and remember the most wonderful soundtrack to the best day of our lives. I still have the "ooooh, ooooh" VAMP to Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" for my husband's and my first dance stuck in my head, with the band's amazing singers crooning their hearts out. I had the chills!!!! Singing my heart out to Jess Glynne's "Hold my Hand" was such a beautiful moment for me, as was dancing around with one of my best girlfriends to "Dancing Queen" by ABBA. Dancing with my dad to Heartland's "I Loved Her First" was one of the most special moments of my life. My husband and I and everyone there had an absolute BLAST dancing and jumping up and down to "Mr. Brightside." And seeing my husband and his mom dance to "I'm a Better Man for Having Loved You" was so precious. And to see and hear Bud on the sax was the absolute icing on the cake!!! Bud was also an AMAZING EMCEE - he announced our dances and the toasts/speeches with full energy that could be felt all over!! The dinner music was absolutely fabulous as well, and Bud and his band even figured out just the right time to play "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," which was a request from my MIL to honor her daughter who passed away a few years ago. Bud and his team listened to every word we said, took it very seriously, and found the perfect times to play our requests. We also provided a "Do Not Play List," which Bud and his team took very seriously as well (while reassuring us that they don't play those songs at weddings anyway.) And oh my gosh, I was obsessed with the outfits Bud and his group wore! The sparkles! The sunglasses! The black and white outfits! Absolutely magnificent!!! Best band for the best value, I cannot emphasize this enough. We added the trumpet, 2nd female vocalist, trombone, and percussion, and every single member of the group was absolutely phenomenal. The live DJ and sound engineer with mics for speeches are also included at no extra charge. Bud and his band are top-notch and total class acts. Bud, thank you for everything!!!! We cannot wait to see Bud and his band perform live again soon!!! -Nicole & Kyle May 18, 2024
