Her class is a weekly 1 hour ballet/tap class. As a parent you can watch the entire class behind mirrored glass. My daughter loves it and follows all of the choreography. The teachers are amazing. There are three teachers for a class of about 15. The kids definitely get individualized attention. The dance center puts on a two hour long show at the end of the year in a local high school auditorium. The day is a bit hectic but the show is well done and gives your child a chance to show off their accomplishments. If your child is in the youngest "twinkling twos" class you get to go first and then can just leave. I've never seen, met or interacted with Mr. Rocco.

Quite disturbing, in my opinion; and unfortunately the staff did not really back me up. That was too much of an uncomfortable feeling for me to stomach. Some parents even had to nerve to literally say they "do not care" when I voiced my privacy concerns. That just spoke volume as to the kind of some parents that go there. I compare that to other dance studios that strictly forbid photos. I just rather not risk any perverts recording and / or sharing or posting photos of my young child via the World Wide Web or social media.

Unfortunately, my recent visit on 3/27/26 was a huge letdown. The biggest issue: the lighting. Bright overhead spotlights were on throughout the entire exhibit. This completely takes away from the immersive, multi-sensory atmosphere the experience is supposed to create. The original lighting design was a big part of what made it special, and now it feels flat and overly exposed. When I asked staff about it, I was told the lights have been kept on for about a month because a previous employee said it felt "too cold" without them. That decision seriously undermines the entire concept of the exhibit. Instead of an immersive experience, it now feels more like a basic, overpriced kids' play space with very little sensory impact. To make matters worse, the refund process was incredibly frustrating. I was directed to Fever, which only handles support via email--no phone option. After several days of back-and-forth, they acknowledged I should be eligible for a refund but claimed they couldn't process it because I purchased tickets at the venue. Meanwhile, the venue says they can't issue refunds either. Being bounced between both parties with no resolution is unacceptable and feels very misleading. I've been left with no choice but to dispute the charge. Bottom line: If you're looking for a brightly lit (and expensive) play area for kids, this might work. But if you're expecting the immersive, multi-sensory experience it used to be, don't waste your time or money.

Motown music was loved by all people and it was evident in the fantastic audience that were so enthusiastically enjoying it. This was my first time at this venue and I loved it. They sell Captain Lawrence IPA which is one of my favorites, They even have an outdoor area for use during the intermission. There is a public parking lot next door but it fills up so you may have to circle around the area to find street parking. I found a spot just a block away. Peekskill is becoming a popular destination for locals and visitors to enjoy a variety of activities and great restaurants.

Tabitha is dedicated and caring and teaches her students the bigger picture... that being a good human is more important than any trophy. My child could not do one turn or jump when she started at Tate 1 year ago and she just completed her first season placing in the top 5 at Nationals! This would never happen if not for the dedication and patience of the teaching staff and Tabitha. Also this school is truly a family with amazing kids who respect, care for, and help each other.
