I loved the marble tables. Also my mother and I loved the wall of plants near the pond. It was so peaceful. We were in the Oslo airport for a 4 hour layover and trying to find something to eat. A sign caught my eye: Voted best cinnamon bun by Yelp. So we ordered 2 cinnamon buns, a custard bun, 2 ham sandwiches (toasted), a latte, and a macchiato. The cinnamon buns were amazing! They are the best cinnamon buns that I've had. They were crunchy caramelized crust with sugar and cinnamon. The inside was soft and buttery. The custard coconut bun was ok. The ham sandwiches were good. The bread was toasted and crisp. It tasted so clean. The free water here was also amazing. It tasted like glacier water. The only water that I've tasted that was as good, was Icelandic water. Maybe everything tasted better because the water was so good. The coffee was solid. It was great find. I would definitely return to Oslo and visit another WB Samson for their cinnamon buns.
