Not one person said Hello, Are you new, How are you? We felt so out of place and it felt uninviting to be there. Both of our sons are shy and none of the kids came up to them. Needless to say we left after only being there for an hour. Again no one spoke to us. Not a very warm feeling was had by any of us.

Beautiful Church…read more SITREP Came to this Church for my baby sister's Memorial (she passed at 44). It's a quaint, picturesque church in a quiet rural area upper Maryland northeast of Baltimore (about 20 miles up the road). It favors a more majority Spanish-speaking congregation, but it makes the worshipper / family member feel very welcome as in the case of our family gathered here for the memorial. THE SETUP The church is nestled into a slight, rising hill, where the main sanctuary sits atop the all-purpose room in the basement. Put another way, the basement is actually level with the parking lot at its main point of entry), then the stairs from the basement multi-purpose room entrance rise with the hill to the entrance of the sanctuary. The memorial ceremony was held in the sanctuary which could easily sit 100, the pews facing the front raised lectern of the speakers. Then we headed downstairs to the multi-purpose room for some refreshment and food for the wake honoring my sister. THE LOWDOWN A very beautiful, quaint house of worship that truly permits worship, reflection, and togetherness.

Many people at this church are like family. The sermons are always excellent and give me something different to think about every week. They provide Classes for kids as young as babies up to the high school level, giving them the ability to grow in Christ together with those their age. The church has missions trips, retreats, small groups, and provides opportunities for everyone to serve. The music is catchy which allows you to get into the song, but more importantly, connect with God on a more personal level. It is very different from a traditional church, but I doubt you'll be disappointed :) give Lifepoint a shot!

Beware! Bullies are accepted here! My child was being bullied by a classmate. We met with the…read moredirector and created a plan to help my child cope. The plan was not followed! My child was kicked out for retaliating. The teachers can not control the children by any means. When approached for conversation you are just told how horrible the class is and that it is truly out of control. The teachers have no clue and really do not care for the children. They speak badly of the other children and even discuss private matters about other children with you. When your child is hurt they rarely call. My child was pushed down hit their head on a table had a massive goose egg and I was never contacted! Just horrible all around care! My 5 year old is in therapy because of the bullying. It will take a long time to reverse the psychological damage this place has caused.
