Our project was a number of Lombardi Poplars well over 100 ft. tall with a narrow (15-20 degree) window to drop them into -- a project that many tree guys grumble about. They came equipped for climbing, falling, and grinding the stumps. They took down the trees and cleaned up the whole mess. Worked fast, worked safely, and did a great job. Champ's has excellent equipment and the crew is very safety conscious. The bid was very reasonable it gave us peace of mind to hire a reliable, local company that is licensed and bonded. We had no problem paying for travel time and their invoice was better than our accountant's. We will definitely use them again and not bother trying to get bids from other services who might be cheaper, because the risk and lower quality work from the 'cheaper bid' is not worth it! We had a tall tree die over the winter, so we wanted it removed this summer. I called Jeff and he…read morecame over a few days later, gave me a quote and an appointment. He requested a deposit and handed me a receipt. The day of the appointment he was a few hours late showing up due to truck trouble, but he and a couple family guys showed and made short work of the tree, piling all the wood into his long trailer. Jeff was very safety conscious and no damage came from the tall limbs coming down. It was nice to see a fellow work carefully and not show off. The crew cleaned up everything, except for some saw dust. Jeff cut the trunk close to the ground, but was not able to cut it clear to the ground. He took a photo of the remaining part and sent my phone number to a fellow he knows that does stump grinding at a reasonable price. Over all, we are very pleased with the result.

Both my husband and I really felt that this was an honest and trustworthy person from the very first time we met him. Our instincts were right on!!! The job was done within two weeks. Cut down trees, limbs, leaves, and many trunks chipped into piles for us to use as well. We had some pretty big trees leaning in tricky angles. Jeff knew exactly how to set everything up to avoid hitting anything on our property. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. His family accompanies him: wife, brothers, kids. Well it's finished and I literally can't believe how it came out. It is over the top amazing. His vision came out into a stellar amazing park like setting. They do brilliant work. Every project turns out great and my yard always looks beautiful. We were concerned about erosion because my yard is on a slope. Pablo designed a complicated network of retaining walls and built a walking path that goes all the way around the house. There was a big tree too close to the front door. Pablo and his crew dug it out with a track hoe and built a wonderful patio. All of the hardscaping is holding up well. None of the blocks have shifted. After several years they all still align perfectly. There have not been any drainage issues. The water always flows in the right direction. I feel like this work has improved my life and increased the value of my home.
