I wanted to drive 10-12 hours a week and they made it happen. Back and forth to work, amazing, picturesque long excursions to Breath taking sights. They are both walking encyclopedias and know so much about the land and its history. Meanwhile, drilling me to hold my lane on mountainous curves to "sacred lands" and Seeing very far ahead of me to make lane changing decisions on the highway. Lisa made sure I understood everything! She made signaling a habit. She made me change lanes on the highway continually, until it felt second nature. She told me, "You will pass the New York City Drivers test. And within 2 months of getting my permit and not knowing how to drive, I passed. I told her, I don't just want to pass. I want to be safe enough to drive my son. Teach me that. When I'm driving on the highway, I always hear Lisa's voice - change to the middle lane, an accident on the shoulder. Take your foot off the gas on the curve, get out of his blind spot, maintain your lane. You see Lisa, you're still always keeping me focused! If you're in New Mexico and don't drive - run to these lovely, caring, hardworking and detailed oriented people. They don't just want you to pass the driving test. They want to keep you safe!

When I objected to the $250 fee and was walking away to take my business elsewhere, the drive instructor tried to goad me into a fight, saying "don't walk away, turn around," and "come at me, bro." They don't get it. Their lack of professionalism is why I am going to another place for my driver hours and none of my younger children or friends will be going here. Even if the guy wasn't 6'2" and 250 lb, I wouldn't fight him. These people are the epitome of unprofessional bullies.

Our student tour guide, Aristotle, from the Student Council, was extremely knowledgeable and shared a wealth of information about this amazing place. There are 230 students from 70 countries all will a common purpose of making the world a better place. The castle is breathtakingly beautiful and very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful with the Nelson Mandela Garden and the Dwan Light Sanctuary. I was knocked over by the stained glass windows throughout and the most beautiful student dining room that I have ever seen with the Dale Chiluly glass chandeliers. Wow times 2! Those 230 students who get to study here at the Montezuma Castle are indeed lucky students. This is an incredible place in history and beauty tucked away in a remote area of New Mexico.

The tours are only open to the public certain days of the year so getting in to see the campus is pretty cool - though you're not permitted to stray from the group or to actually go onto the dorm floors where students are. Learn some history and appreciate the dedication of these students because life is so hard up there and they're working through it.

As a mom searching for the…read moreright place for my toddler, I visited a few centers, including Shandiin, Noah's Ark, and Busy Bees Childcare. this one was out of my way and on a side of town I was not looking at because of the location but it had immediate availability and was better that the other choices by far. so, I'll drive the extra 15 min to Gibson. my child's happiness is worth it. First, the place is super clean, and they have a great curriculum in place. But what truly sets them apart is the staff/ teachers. They are warm, kind, and genuinely care about the kids. Unlike other centers where I felt rushed and my child was left crying, here, they took the time to understand my little one's needs. I never felt rushed. Getting to know the teachers is a big deal to me. One big plus, no kids crying during drop-off or pick-up! You can really tell it's a nurturing environment. Plus, it doesn't smell like dirty diapers, which is a nice perk! We're just finishing our second week, and I'm so glad I chose this center. It might be a bit out of my way, but it's the best decision I've made for my child. If you're looking for a CARING and CLEAN center, I highly recommend Eastern Child Development Center!
