Made an appt. for an undercoating and they weren't ready for me, sitting in the waiting room with their desks in front of you and the constant back and forth made me feel like an employee on break rather than a customer. The undercoating was done in a sloppy manner and sprayed plastics such as the tops of the shock towers and the battery instead of just the posts but seemed to get all the areas but I'm just guessing as they don't provide you with any information about the service. At least they didn't fog the windshield and get too much on the engine. The thing that earned the one star is a scamkanic came out with a wad of fresh gray grease saying one of my ball joints leaked it out. I had to stifle myself as the vehicle was fairly new and had low miles, ball joints don't have that much grease in them and if it was coming out it would partially dirty from being exposed and last but not least the ball joints are sealed. I feel bad for any honest employees there that don't want to work in a place that lacks integrity, been there done that but at a much larger scale. I take my vehicles to the dealer and use OEM parts so the trick would never have worked. read more

NMT *used* to be good (written Jan 2025). This is no longer the case. Now, they are expensive and pushing up sells. No price list. Foggy descriptions of their "packages". Phone "agents" are pretty much useless. No meeting their own deadlines. Yes, they are technically competent, but *very* expensive and becoming arrogant with their success - no need to care for customers any longer. Riding high from their "old" reputation. For that kind of money, you may as well go to the dealership. I won't be coming back. read more

I have been a loyal customer at this establishment for a number of years and have been very grateful to have a service centre I can actually TRUST. Although this branch is very busy which is due to a large number of clients that only use this branch for all their auto service needs, the wait is well worth the results. So to those that need a quick patch up or half fix this is not the place to go. This shop fixes your issue for good and makes no excuses. They are not in the business of cutting corners either. Made an appointment to bring my car in at 130 for winter tire change over plus oil change. They didn't take the car till 315 after I asked what was going on with it. Then they started working on it. Aside from the service on front desk I get the sense the speed of the workers are slow and unreliable here. A half hour of work and I have to wait 3 hours? Even with an appointment made? I did not agree with the diagnosis that the mechanic provided me, not enough evidence was given to justify the repair, yet it was advised to me anyway. I do not like that they bill based on what the computer said, and not what it would take them in real life. So if the computer said 2 hours of labor, but it takes them 1 hour, you get charged for 2 hours, and you are not around watching to notice you got billed an extra hour of labor, which we all know is expensive. Not my preferred type of mechanic relationship. I prefer open and transparent, and justify why work needs to be done with more accuracy and evidence. read more

Got my new car ruined by this place cause of incompetent fkers can't even do alignment right after the tire installation, when I called they claimed they Did Not do the alignment which is worse, but after I got my tire checked again at another store obviously they Did the alignment just bad at it. It was such a pleasure interacting with Jeremy and Kat. It all started with me looking to find a tyre repair store and calling up the various options that Google search threw up. Most of the places didn't either pick up the phone or kept me on hold. Ones who answered the phone were just so transactional. I happened to read the reviews for NMTA and was floored by such positive comments. I called them and Kat answered, she was so pleasant and extremely high on customer service skills. Gave me all the information that I needed, patiently and with such courtesy, that I decided to go here. The trouble with my 2004 Chevy Cavalier started about 3 weeks ago, when I stopped for red light,he engine started to idle so i took it to the mechanic who is a friend of mine,he told me to change the air filter,but the driving just got worse and two weeks like that the engine light came up so I went again to find the solution to have the car fixed. I ended up more spending,changing the ignition coil and saw other mechanic. After one week going with new ignition coil,the same problem,he told me to change the plugs and do an oil change for performance.I did all of this things,driving around with an engine light up and went again to consult other mechanics,etc.So lots of frustration until one of my friend told me to see Jeremy at the New Millenium Garage at Fourth Line they used to go there for years.I am so happy I did they found the problem in half hour,they fixed it the next day as they said they would,I saw 5 mechanics with no solutions,spending all that money what was not necessary at that time. Ben and Jeremy took the time and using their out of box thinking , they looked the car beneath ,did some investigations what others did not do and they found the problem right away. Two wires were shaved and touching the metal caused a short circuit and engine misfire in my car. Thank you again my car runs very well,problem solved,after all an old car can be fixed too if the mechanic do not judge and takes the time to have the real problem fixed instead of using "probably this work" solutions.
