The owner, David, even stopped by to see how everything was progressing. The second time (subfloor replacement and tile work in rental property) I had a "project manager", Chris, who really just moved the payment process along. He never came to the job site to check on the worker, progression of job, or quality of work. So, not really a true project manger. The worker came, accommodated not working once tenant was home which was appreciated, was friendly, and completed the job. Tenant did report that once the work was done, the job site was not left as clean as it could have been. Tenant reported hardened grout left on outside of tub and door handle, dried blood in tub, sink left dirty, worker did not vacuum where work was completed, and mortar on front doorstep. Chris did offer to send the worker back but tenant had already cleaned up. Cost was at the midpoint of all the bids I received and seemed fair Overall, I probably won't use them again on such an extensive job. Would consider them for smaller jobs.

He gave me an up-front estimate, which seemed fair. He asked for a 50% deposit, which (based on past reviews) also seemed fair. The first workday, he arrived then left because of weather: it was a bit misty but not actively raining. Each day, he arrived at around 11 am. I told him up front that our HOA is very strict and that the lights must be professionally installed. Halfway through, there were cords dangling making it appear unsightly. I told him again that we want all cords hidden. At the end of it all, there were still cords dangling in several places, easily visible a casual observer. Additionally, while Govee recommends their lights be 2 to 4 inches from the wall, he installed them at least 10 inches from the wall, making for a muted and dimmed light show. In the end, we were very disappointed and had to hire a second contractor to uninstall his work and then reinstall the lights correctly. If you need Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights installed, look elsewhere. I cannot speak to any other work he John does.

This added significantly to their time. I had a good time visiting with them, and we laughed about our goofy dogs. They cleaned up their mess and were respectful of my property while here. I do not hesitate to recommend John. I have two happy little dogs who have already figured out how to use the door!

Jason saved the day for us. We had an electrical/AC emergency nightmare going on. 108* outside and…read moreabout 95* inside the house, as our circuit breaker failed and kept tripping no matter how often I switched it back on. Of course this came to a head a little after 5:30 pm when you would think all the service techs would have called it a day. I posted my emergency on Yelp, and Jason replied within a minute to ask a few questions and let me know he could be here within the hour. He made it here in 30 minutes. This is the service of yesteryear when it meant something to commit to the very best. Jason explained thoroughly how these breakers can take a turn and fail when not properly maintained. (In our case we had some screws that were loose, causing the intermittent flow to tax the breaker) We had used our home warranty service to have an AC guy look at the problem previously (before the breaker completely failed) and he had completely misdiagnosed the problem. Beware using "home shield" vendors, as they are paid very little and will fit the repair with what profits them the most! It was quite a fiasco until NES came out and solved it in a snap.

He was able to repair all of the decorative woodwork to perfection. He also removed all the old cheap siding and replaced it with hardiplank siding and made it look original and not like an addition. I rather not write a whole book and just keep it quick. They blew out my electricity (1 braker & 4 fuses) freaked out, demanded payment immediately before I could find out what they had done. I then had to contact the contractor to help get ahold of these people to pay for their mess. But still no luck. It was easy to schedule with Jordan and the two guys who came out to fix my door were so nice. They were able to bring me a new door, do a full installation and replacement of the siding and then haul away the old door. When I noticed that the new door wasn't completely closing after a few days, Jordan sent his guys out again to make the adjustment. It was super easy working with them and I will definitely be using them again!

He did not show up most days to start working until after 3pm and when it gets dark at 6pm that only gives about 2 hours of decent sunlight to work which is not enough time to get anything accomplished correctly.
