But on several occasions when visiting the farmhouse to use the bathroom, we found it to be very dirty with hanging strips of dead flies, spiders in the open window, and unclean hand towels hanging up that looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks with no access to paper towels. We also noticed during an after school event where food was served that a chicken walked up and ate off the same salad bowel that was being served to people. I hope they fix these issues and really turn it around soon. It's a shame it's gotten like this.

We were so relieved to find that Maria Montessori's mission is carried out here at Hawk Meadow. Our children transitioned seamlessly into the classrooms, as they are truly Montessori environments. The teachers, administration and staff are intelligent, caring and passionate about Montessori style learning. The small class sizes offer plenty of individualized lessons and encourage a strong relationship among students and teachers, and our children are thriving. The wooded campus is a great place for children of all ages to learn and grow. We are so glad we found a home at Hawk Meadow!

My father mentioned Montessori and I am forever grateful to him. This school is all about the children. . It is clear as day. Nothing but excitement when he comes home. I was so impressed with the parent teacher night that I immediately enrolled my three year old as well. The teachers love them and my children love their teachers. Once we decided to come here, we began to search for things to do for a few hours and settled on this great zoo next to a great park by the same Forsyth name. Although it is not an all-day excursion, it's a nice way to spend an hour or two looking at the various animals and flowers. Food kibble is available to purchase for a quarter and the kids will love feeding goats and peacocks and pheasant and all other manner of animals. Fish and turtles and birds and an iguana share space with an alpaca and a pair of pigs and rabbits. Most everything appears to be funded by private charity and well-kept by a crew that cuts the grass and maintains to flowers and the animal quarters. Some shade trees do an excellent job at beating the hot sun and various benches or tables allow you to take a load off your feet and relax. There is a lending library in a weather-proof box that is sure to be a hit with the local kids. When in the area, please make sure to stop in and enjoy this zoo and adjacent park.

My daughter is 6 so for her age group, they break out the kids by level and groups so no group is bigger than 7-8 kids per instructor. They have several instructors at once looking over the kids to ensure safety. I feel like they have the class well organized. This place is definitely geared towards girls instead of boys. For beginners I don't think it matters, but if you are looking for more advanced training for boys, I would go elsewhere. They offer 10 weeks sessions and gives discount if you sign up for multiple sessions (i.e. 6 month/ 1 year). Makeup class is allowed once per 10 week session. They also offer Winter and summer camps and birthday parties. For covid safety, they don't require masks which is great since the kids can get heated doing all the flips and jumps! They check temperature and sanitize the kids hands when they enter the facility. Parents can drop off the kids or stay at a viewing lobby while kids in class. I recommend this place for your little ones!
