Worst memory care leadership, manager is very vengeful and miserable with poor team player skills and has been reported numerous times but yet no change, if you are not a favorite of hers you are bound to get fired, people are hired out of being desperate, short staffed on some days, when there is enough staff in the whole building due to memory care manager being incompetent when it comes to scheduling, VERY HIGH TURNOVER, they will sweet talk you at their own benefit but once they've replaced you they'll throw you to the curb like you never broke your back for them, NO RECOGNITION or potential on moving up due to poor leadership (specifically memory care manager) all attention is focused on memory care leader who is a poor leader as said by 97% of the entire building including family members and other leaders, still no Director of Wellness, memory care manager is not an RN due to not being capable of passing NCLEX-RN exam but claims to be an RN during orientation, should have been fired a long time ago, executive director is too nice, therefore has no back bone to make own actual decisions, place will eventually go out of business due to this matter, on calls are not caregivers making them not ever want to do their job as the on call, caregivers are treated like dirt, very minimal training due to not enough scheduled staff, lots of lack of communication, no shift differentials, low pay for all the stress that is caused on top of responsibilities that are expected, raises are given on a year basis only being a few cents as if it's a department store, list can keep going but would never end, DO NOT WORK HERE AND ABORT MISSION BY ALL MEANS IF LOOKING INTO IT, If could give -5 stars I would. read more

After reading review of previous employee it all makes sense as to the lack of care of a loved one in the memory care unit that has since passed away recently. I had questioned numerous times the exact words written to be told they were never short staffed, all employees properly trained and experienced with memory care patients? I have traveled the Green Bay Area and assisted many clients and family over 25 years and I have never witnessed the inadequate care as I did here. The residents have brain complications and they are dehydrated from lack of fluids. Only seen fluids at meal and snack time to which some residents didn't get because of them not eating at those times. When you are dehydrated, what happens?, add confusion from memory complications to that? No routine at all to which is the most important with memory care patients. Other health care facilities (angels wings, hospice, etc)staff come in and are encouraged to do their thing, keep to selves and leave. Family and friends visiting receives little or no compassion from staff( 3-4 of entire facility acknowledged you but very careful of being watched). Made to feel as a threat to them which would show guilt of being questioned. When you watch your loved ones struggle and have to go and see them (3-4days a week) travel that horrible disease the LAST thing you need is the stress of lack of support,care, concern and compassion. They throw the hippa card constantly for excuse of the lack of communication. I and most all of us know about privacy, but when you see your loved one struggling, uncomfortable and needing attention you should be able to get some help for them without making it a Hippa excuse! Personally witnessed unattended patients including my love one to which days after bringing it to staff and family attention, loved one fell out of wheel chair and broke his neck! While wearing neck brace for weeks, discovered an opened wound to which staff not aware of? When I would go every day I would go right for fluids and they would drink 2 glasses immediately. Toileting another whole subject and reason for lack of fluids. Showers and toilets in my opinion over rated and just for show. Depends their toileting choice and if lucky maybe 3 changes in a day? I and my husband are business owners and know the difficulties of staffing. If you don't have the staff in this kind of business especially, rely on family members and volunteers! Twice I seen volunteers visit and they seemed lost and out of place, not engaged or very little? All else fails either lower patient to staff ratio or maybe memory care not the business they should be in. Stick with filling that building with perhaps Senior apartment and assisted living only.
