He takes extra steps to make sure I am comfortable and I'm so impressed by the way he speaks to the staff. It feels like everyone there is invested in my care. As a side note. He's also my husband's dentist. 3 years ago during a routine cleaning, one of the hygienists noted something unusual. She asked Dr Fisher to take a look. It turned out that he had a cancerous lesion on one of his tonsils. He'd never noticed it & didn't have pain. Without the watchful eye of the hygienist and Dr Fisher's quick referral to an ENT Specialist, no one knows how much it could have spread. The receptionist demanded I tell her what the diagnosis was from the other two dentist and when I refused to tell her and said I just want a third professional opinion I even have his x rays she demanded I tell her what dentist I took him to for the diagnosis. My question is why exactly she needed and demanded that information from me? Because if she was going to try to get my son's diagnosis from the other dentist, that is a HIPPA violation. Anyway after arguing with her for over 20 minutes I gave up and told her this dentist no longer works for us. They had no business knowing what the other diagnosis were if I was coming in for a new diagnosis.
