GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! BED SIDE MANNER IS LACKING, AND NOT WORTH A PENNY…read more Came here for medical treatment (mental health) for about a year. I was actually extremely disappointed with this facility. Not only did I feel they were overpriced, but when I questioned them on their prices, and proof of being overcharged...I was confronted with attitude from the front office. This of course happened on SEVERAL occasions. As well as clarification on their billing. I was told to pay before I see the Dr. However with my insurance they have me reimburse the practice later. Dr. Diehl's office had a policy they wanted to charge of time of service, regardless how your insurance company does it. Which was totally fine, I didn't have a problem with that. I looked at it as, I get the payment out of the way and not worry about it later. This is where the issue happened. I would pay for the visit at the time of the visit...but then I would pay again for the same visit through a bill in the mail?!?! WTH? This happened so often I ended up paying more then what I was suppose to. When I tried to discuss this with the front office (on several occasions) I was met with an extreme attitude. I felt I was treated like an idiot who can't figure out their billing system, and their policies. The lady in the front (don't remember her name) black woman in her 30's, always has an attitude, and is never polite to any of the clientele. Finally enough was enough and supposedly I owed over $100, which I knew I didn't. When discussing it over the phone with this same woman...more attitude was given. I finally had reached my limit, showed up at the office to try and figure out this billing issue. Again, the woman at the front, was so damn rude we ended up getting Dr. Diehl involved. Which then I was treated as if I'm mentally unstable to handle the issue. Which pissed me off even more! I am a mental health patient for OCD (cleaning) and some anxiety...however when you mess with someones money...anybody would get upset. That was the final straw. If you can go somewhere else I would. The front office made the experience awful, and Dr. Diehl was not all that great. Even before that issue, I always felt she was very cold and I was just another pay check. I ended up leaving and going to Strong Tower Behavioral Center. They're reasonably priced and everyone has been extremely helpful. Not only that, they're always in constant communication with you on any questions you may have.

Sometimes the wait can be a little long (as with most doctors), but never extreme - I have experienced MUCH worse elsewhere. Hopefully Dr. Diehl will be on my new insurance this coming year.

She puts you at ease well, isn't stuffy, and is generally a fun person to interact with. I think her quirky personality makes her easy to talk to and get along with. Even with her friendly personality, she knows how to direct the sessions. She also seems practical as we had homework and gave advice for our issues. She seemed to be eager to help us on our problems instead of just being a "listener." She seems non-judgmental and fair. With other counselors, I might have felt some sort of bias against certain things, but I didn't get that vibe from Linda. She didn't jump to conclusions much. If she did, she did a good job filtering out any bias or judgement. She also started and ended our sessions on time. I appreciated that. Also, we had 8 free session through my insurance. After the 8 sessions, she gave an option to continue or not. I liked how she gave us an option to continue. And she didn't give any pressure to continue seeing her if we didn't need to. I believe that unless you have severe issues, you shouldn't need to see a therapist forever. They should be able to help you deal with your issues and let you move on. I think Linda is that type of therapist. If you're in need of a therapist for whatever issue, I recommend Linda Winship.

i was referred here by my home doctor. i've been twice and i…read morefeel so cared for. the psychiatrist was so knowledgeable and really seemed to care about me and helping me. office experience itself was subpar. i've been better and i've seen worse. just basic experience. the lady who took my vitals was a very sweet older lady. only thing that threw me off, she took my blood pressure in a sleeve cuff that was incredibly too big for me. when we got the reading back, she said herself that it seemed very low but it's fine and moved on. which is concerning because my blood pressure isn't usually low, so it would've been nice to have it taken again with something that fit properly. overall, the psychiatrist made up for it all. i cannot recommend rachel enough. she was so patient and kind and made me feel comfortable and not alone in how im feeling.

I was woken up at 7:45am by a call from them telling me they needed to reschedule my appointment scheduled for three days from now. I have previously requested not to be called prior to 9am (after being woken up before by their calls) due to my sleep schedule (that this practice supposedly focuses on "mind and sleep), and called to complain about this happening again. The office manager, Happy, was extremely unprofessional in her attitude with me when I told her in a professional manner that this had occurred and interrupted me three times while I was speaking, telling me that they start calling patients as early as 7:30am and that they will note my file not to call that early. I never had a chance to explain that I had requested this previously because she interrupted me. When I asked her if I could explain the reason for my frustration she told me "No", that she didn't want to hear it and that I could either re-schedule or move to a different practice. I told her that I wanted to explain why I was upset and she again said my only options were to reschedule or to find somewhere else to go, and when I asked to speak to Dr Schroeder (owner of the practice) she told me he doesn't speak to patients about customer service issues and I had to deal with her as the office manager. When I informed her again that I wanted to explain why I feared that this would recur based on it having previously occurred, and if she would not listen then I wanted to cancel my appointment she then proceeded to hang up on me. I called her back immediately and a minute later was told she was in a meeting and unavailable. I am shocked at the unprofessional way I was treated by Happy as the office manager after being a customer for well over 10 years. This is not the way to take care of your patients!
