We have been going to this jewelry store for a few years now. Patrick snd Mario are so awesome. They totally rebuilt my mom's precious wedding ring. They hand crafted her cross necklace. But what really amazed me is they are the most honest and good guy- That you can ever deal with. A lady brought her beautiful necklace in and said she needed the clasp repaired. When they told her the repair cost she could not believe it. Less then $50. A jeweler up the road was going to charge her $600 for the same repair. So if you are looking for a good place. I love the service of the guys at the New York Diamond Center so much that although my husband and I live in Houston, TX, we do not trust any other jeweler to handle our investments. 12 years ago my husband and I were shopping for engagement rings and came across The New York Diamond Center in Palm Harbor, FL. We were shown a beautiful diamond from an estate sale for a great price but didn't realize it at the time. We wanted to shop elsewhere to see what else was available and were told we would be back. I went to get a quote on selling some gold and see if they would buy a diamond ring. I was taken care of immediately. They offered me more than I expected for the ring and were lower on the gold purchase than the previous place I went to but matched the quote I was given. I was really pleased with the service. Everyone was really friendly and easy going. I will definitely go back. I know going to a jeweler is intimidating as you never know who you can trust. I drove across town To the store looking to sell some of my gold and diamonds that I no longer wear. I figured I'd give it a shot due to the ratings. Upon arrival at the store, I was approached(Not greeted) by some guy whom had a nice/nasty type of attitude. He appeared to look down his nose at me as he asked about what I was looking for or what I was interested in. I proceeded to tell him that I was looking to sell some of my jewelry and proceeded to hand him the items. I watched as he passed it on to some other guy Who looked at it and then gave it back to the other guy. So this person comes back with a "BS" kind of response. Saying that my jewelry was not something that they would have at the store, but instead would remove the diamonds....out and so on and so forth. Blah, blah, blah. And told me the Offer that they would've given me for the two items which was ridiculous and meniscule . Even lower than a low wactually lower than a lowball offer. Really? I guess I have stupid written across my forehead?I really had to bite my tongue not to tell the guy a word or two about his nasty little attitude. And what a jerk I felt he was in the way that he was acting. I proceeded to get my stuff back and I left the store. I guess if you're the type of person that likes to be treated like a PEASANT or you're not partial to the degree of customer service you receive with people that obviously think they're better than you....then this is the place for you! read more

I went in there for the first time just four days before Christmas looking for a gold and diamond fleur de lis pendent for my wife. I was greeted by a man named Patrick and he opened a few books and found the setting that I liked. He had it shipped over night and had his jeweler Mario set in the diamonds himself. They called when it was done like they said they would and I went there to see the finished pendent. They then wrapped it for Christmas and put into a bag ready to place under my tree. I went to the store to see what could be done and I had the stones replaced into a post smaller so they were more comfortable for me. Met Patrick the first time I went to the store. He helped me with getting some of my jewelry cleaned. I had a very sentimental item from my father on a thin chain that had broken. He suggested I get a more durable chain to protect the item. I was afraid of losing the item if the chain broke again.
