My wonderful wife and I were on a staycation and checked out of the hotel. On the drive to our next destination she suddenly noticed and exclaimed, my diamond is missing! We discussed the myriad of possible places it could have been lost like coffee shops, parking lots, parks, the hotel, etc. We discussed how we might go back to the original shop in NYC from 35 years ago and buy another one! On a whim, I called the hotel. They looked for it and let us know, hours later they couldn't find it. Hey, stuff happens. We are still happily married! The next day, the phone rang! Their maintenance man had found the stone! Long story short, we got it back, I slipped him some cash and wrote a sincere thank you letter to corporate. Off to Johnston Jewelers we went! Joyce was wonderful, explained the process, we met with a jeweler, agreed on the plan, got our aged rings resized and resurfaced, and had a stronger diamond mounting installed! Woohoo! It's beautiful and looks amazing! Jean helped when we picked up our rings. It was so much fun! Married life is good with Johnston Jewelers!
