Stayed at the Remington hotel for 2 nights and this is where the complimentary breakfast was at. It's pretty confusing trying to get here since we had to get out of the hotel across the street at the casino.
After being confused for a few minutes, we finally found the place. It sits right inside the casino area. The decor is nice and modern. They even played Frank Sinatra songs the whole time we were there, staying true to the NY part of NYPD (PD stands for Pinoy deli).
The food was not bad, but what irks me the most is the terrible service. Let me give you a scenario: I had to leave my mom there since I had to get something from our hotel room. So I had to go across the street, take the elevator to the 8th floor then walk back here. That took about 10 minutes since I had to use the bathroom also. The whole time I was gone, no one asked her for her order or if she wanted anything to drink. We literally had to flag someone to get our order, and the place was not even busy/packed. The servers all looked like they didn't want to be there when talking to us, but you could see them joking around and laughing amongst each other while people were waiting to be served.
Bottom line, it's complimentary breakfast that's why I gave 2 stars. The service was subpar, I can even get way better service at a Denny's back in the States. read more
