Beautiful restaurant, happened upon it while waiting for the nearby Embassy of Thailand to open up. Beautiful decor, and the menu looks great. Wish our hotel was nearby because we both want to come back for more. He had the Bacon Steak with Garlic Rice and tried the Golden Juice and I tried the Blueberry pancakes and a Vietnamese latte. All in all, the food and drinks were just okay, the wait was long but we really appreciated finding such a cute place to have breakfast during our weeklong stay in the PI. If we had time, we would've liked to try it again in the evening.
We went here on a Sunday afternoon. There was a lot of people with just a table or two left We were a party of four and we were able to sit right away. They have burgers, pasta, rice meals, salad and a lot more. There is something for everyone. They even make their own soda and I tried the strawberry lemon and it's really good. You can really taste the strawberries. We ordered Wildflour Chopped Salad, Pasta alla Norma, Mac n Cheese and some bread with butter. The bread was fresh, soft inside chewy outside. The rest of the food was delicious. It's a little pricey but the quality of food was superb. A pretty cozy ambience. Awesome service and quick response.
Ate here for breakfast on a Sat morning. Place was fairly crowded at 10am but we were able to get a table. The atmosphere is really nice - high ceiling, tall windows to people watch, and clean oak tables. As you walk in, they have an array of breakfast foods like muffins and breads you can choose from if you'd like. Or you can order from the menu, which is what we did. Got the ricotta cheese pancakes....delicious. It's heavy too, so it's probably best shared with another person. Coffee here is excellent as well. This is one of those places where everything on the menu sounds delicious...I hope to visit again to try something new. The only knock I have is they have 1 bathroom for the whole place. Luckily it was open when I had to do my business. For a place of this size, management should look to add another bathroom.
MUST GO! Everything was Delicious and came out pretty fast. They have a great and attentive staff. Everything was clean and comfy. We ate the octopus salad as a started. It was very light and fresh. Then the chicken wings were amazingly crunchy not too sweet and had the fried jalapeños for those who like a kick came with some nuts for an extra crunch. For meals we did the adobo rice with pork. Extremely savory. We topped it all off with salted chocolate cake while drinking our mimosas would recommend this place if you aren't looking for Filipino food! Great portions all in all very satisfied with the experience.
My wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast at Wildflour. The service left a little to be desired but the food was excellent. We ordered the chicken and waffles and adobo fried rice. The chicken and waffles was unlike any other I had tried before. It had scrambled eggs & sausage gravy over the waffle and was topped with fried chicken. It was topped with Parmesan cheese. The waffle was a bit dry but the eggs were cooked perfectly and the gravy had excellent flavor. The fried chicken was delicious and moist. The pork adobo fried rice came topped with pork belly and a fried egg. There was a lot of flavor in this dish! I really liked the pork belly! There is a wide variety of pastries to purchase but we were a bit disappointed that they don't sell the jams in store. You have to buy online and the ones in store were for display only. When you walk in, you almost forget you are in metro Manila. It feels like you walked in to a California breakfast spot.
This is my go to location whenever I'm in Legazpi Vullage. Everything is just on point. Today I went with the kale smoothie with banana, mango, apple, and dragon fruit to go along with my California burger. I know, I know, why wouldn't I go with one of their parties or their blueberry pancakes? We'll it was lunch time and I thought I'd change it up from my regular morning order. One thing that all these Wildflour locations have is consistency. Even the smoothies are consistent from one location to another which is hard to do. I always watch them as they make it and each barista makes it with so much care. Anyway, keeping this short (because it's not if but when I'll be here again), the burger was nice. I wouldn't call it amazing, but above average. But I knew not to expect great, it's just not their specialty, so no points taken off. The only point taken off goes to the noise level and the fact it feels a little cramped. Other locations don't suffer as much from those two things. Thanks Wildflour! Can't wait to be back so that I can give you more of my money!
The ambiance and heavy wood interiors are charming, rustic and sets the mood for a nice, romantic and intimate dinner. On the other hand, the french onion soup, potato and leek, kimchi fried rice were all cooked with a heavy hand for salt. The watermelon iced tea reminded me of how my dog smells for some reason, something musky in the concoction. It did not sit well. The organic wings were too sweet. A good compliment to the saltiness of all our other entrees perhaps? Another dish was the double bone pork chop - it was ok. Considering. Soft, moist and tender. Their complimentary bread and butter saved the evening for me, and the good attentive service. So kudos to Justine.
Came to check out what it's all about. As soon as you come in you'll see a big selection of pastries that will leave u drooling like crazy. Had the matcha twist paired with a matcha latte. The pastry in the matcha twist was crispy and flaky. Definitely enjoyed it. I'd come back for sure to try out the other pastries.
I find myself trying to write the perfect intro to articulate my experience I had today but I can't. When I first walked in was bombarded with a display of baked goods and could not stop eying them until I sat down. The smell of grilled meat and the baked breads were making me hungrier by the second. I ordered the pull pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was baptized in BBQ sauce or all fat pieces but it was great throughout in texture, potion size, seasoning, cook...the garlic aioli was a great complement too. I dipped everything in it: the fries, complimentary bread, my fingers... Couple things I would give me a better experience is i would want to have a paper place mat underneath my dish because the of pork kept falling off my cutting board and in to the table because they give so much! Serve the butter that comes with the bread at room temp, it was difficult to spread and replace the take out bags from the cheap paper bags that instantly rip because they're softer than tissue paper. Other than that this place is just outstanding in food and rustic interior design. I can't wait to go back again
Still our favourite chocolate cake! SALTED CHOCOLATE CAKE (270 PHP) The cake is lightly salted to balance the super rich chocolate cream around and in between the cake. They even provide rock salt on the side if you think you need more. The price may seem steep, but trust us when we say it's good for sharing, unless you need the calories. We usually come here after dinner for something sweet and creamy, which we always end up ordering this and even the 2 of us think it's a heavy dessert. Did I mention that they serve complimentary bread even if you're just coming for desserts. TIP: Come after 7PM and Get their delicious pastries except the cakes at 50% off. TAKE-OUT only. If you want something unique try their "salted-egg croissant" or if not their brownies are always a good safe choice.

My first experience at Wildflour was for a meeting with a client. I politely asked her what her favorite item on the menu is, as I always do. She promptly replies: the Pistachio Au Lait! Pistachio flavored coffee? Sign me up! It was a bit on the sweet side, but it did not disappoint! The caffeine was strong and the Pistachio flavor was satisfying! The pastries aren't so shabby as well! I've tried the Key Lime Pie, Cheese Log and the Smore Doughnuts, all of them are very good! Thus far, I haven't ordered anything here that I didn't like! Quite impressive really! Even their service bread, served with a side of salted butter is very delicious! The only real downside of this place is the price. But then again, you get what you pay for! Will we be coming back? Yes, sooner than later!

Probably one of the rare restaurants where it's cheaper to order it on FoodPanda than to dine in thanks to the promo. Now I have mixed feelings for Wildflour. While the food is generally good, I do have some nitpicks. The chicken skin is great when paired with the gravy but once you get to the meat, it's dry af. The biscuit doesn't even taste like biscuits. More like cornbread. How you gonna call the dish "Chicken & Biscuits" but then serve cornbread. The Reuben is not bad, but a bit on the pricier side for who knows what reason. Overall, I'd probably eat here again through FoodPanda when theres a promo, otherwise there are plenty of better western food available in the area. read more
Tried this spot for the first time after several friends recommended it--and I'm glad I finally did! It's located in an upscale mall, but finding the entrance was a bit tricky. The sign is only visible on the front door, which is partially obscured by patio dining and umbrellas. A clearer sign would definitely help first-time guests. That said, I was warmly welcomed upon arrival, which set a great tone. A few of the menu items I wanted to try were unfortunately unavailable--might be helpful to remove signage for out-of-stock items to avoid disappointment. I ordered the Adobo Pandesal--the bread was soft and fluffy, and the meat filling was tender and flavorful. A definite win! I also tried the sugar donut--nothing extraordinary, but a good, simple bite. The banana bread, on the other hand, was moist and delicious--definitely something I'd come back for. Overall, I'd return to explore more of the food menu. The vibe is relaxed, and it seems like a great place to hang out with friends over drinks. Looking forward to round two! read more

I liked republique in Los Angeles, but I didn't love it. Maybe it's because it was too busy and the line was so long and it was basically a self service thing with full service prices. But man oh man, wildflour is a different story. It's so quaint and beautiful and an intimate setting. Every person made sure to refill our glasses the minute we took a sip from it, Edmund is awesome. Give him a raise please. You can order any 4 pastries for 420 pesos, which is like... $10 USD total. And they're DELICIOUS. The polenta was amazing. The chorizo fundido was awesome (um, it comes with a fried egg), the croque Madame was decadent as helllllll (also, egg was not over cooked and it was runny which is always an A++ in my book) and overall my experience here was through the roof. I would happily pay $100USD here because my overall experience was absolutely divine. I hope I get the chance to come back here again before I leave to go back to the United States. This is my favorite restaurant in Manila so far. Clean, great food, great drinks, awesome atmosphere. Came here for lunch. AMAZING!!! Got the soup, salad, sandwich. Love this place, wish we had this place in California read more

We visited Wildflour on a Tuesday morning at around 10 am. The restaurant had plenty of empty seats. The server told us to avoid the seats nearest to the windows because we would get baked by the sun. I ordered a French toast with sausage and a cappuccino and my wife ordered the blueberry pancakes and a cafe mocha. We could have just ordered one meal and shared it. The coffees tasted good. The French toast was good but I would have liked the sausage to be seared more. I was expecting the sausage to be sausage links but two hockey puck-looking sausage patties appeared instead. My wife enjoyed her pancakes which came with bacon. I would have liked to try the chorizo omelette or the adobo fried rice. Next time... read more

Ended up here twice while visiting Manila - once for brunch and a second time to try their pumpkin pie (we were too full after our first brunch). For brunch, got the mushroom bowl and smoked salmon toast with both scrambled and poached eggs on top. The salmon toast was incredible and the smoothie I paired it with was really refreshing. Most outstanding was definitely the pumpkin pie we came back for - with a decadent base and fluffy marshmallow top, it really hit the spot. read more
The cafe's high ceilings and brick layered walls provide a casual elegant backdrop to banquet seats lining the left wall and a communal table in front while the glass windows on the street side allow sunlit contemplation of choices. On a Saturday, the place is almost at full capacity at 9am. We chose the Braised Pork Belly with adobo rice, House Cured Salmon on toast, Chorizo Fundido that comes with a toasted baguette to scoop the gooey stuff with. And German pancakes to share with coffee. There are healthy choices on the menu, including smoothies. And there are pastry selections out front. Prices tend to the more expensive side but there are enough choices that allow you to craft multiple meals in a week. There is some snot factor among the clientele, in particular 2 Filipinas who seem to be regulars giving us a glare so we moved to the glass windows area to discuss the finer points of digital marketing. Flavor profiles are great. Service is prompt. Noise factor a little bit higher and we probably contributed to it. Reminds me of Le Pain Quotidien in LA, albeit more food choices, ambience and crowd hipsterish. Bowls like the adobo fried rice reminiscent of meals at Sari Sari Store LA. read more

Good place to eat in Makati I visited this Wildflour Café location some time ago with my family and friends for the first time. I was very impressed with the presentation of baked goods right when I entered the café. From the large painting and brick columns to the huge mirrors that reflects natural lighting throughout the entire resto, I find this open design concept very welcoming. However, we walked in during a very busy time so there wasn't much waiting area space to accommodate our party of seven. Luckily we were seated within 10 minutes. We ordered various types of food from their menu: Pulled Pork Burger, Wildflour Salad, Cuban Sandwich, Squid Ink Spaghetti with Prawns, and two platefuls of pastries. We wanted to share the experience and taste the flavours of every type of food they offered. So I would say that some pastries were a little on the dry side because they are rather large in size with very little filling to mix it up. The salad dressing was a little tangy for me and it's probably because the blue cheese added to the flavour. The Pulled Pork Burger was pretty damn good. I like the taste of the onion rings crunching with the juice of the pulled pork. The bun was a little big so I had to flatten it with my hand to fit in my mouth. The Cuban sandwich was the one for me though. More like a panini, it had everything in it. Sweet and sour flavours layered with Latino flavoured ham. I like the spicy kick and the toasted bread I had with each bite. I didn't like the bland chips and just munched on the fries that came with the pulled pork sandwich. The portions are large so easily we were able to share with one another. The prices are a little higher considering the amount of food served, the quality, and that it is located in central Makati. Service was good. Water was refilled almost every time our glasses were near empty. The hard part is to find your waiter to get the bill. Otherwise we all walked out with big smiles ready to take on a full day of shopping at Glorietta and Greenbelt. read more

Love the food and with generous portion. If you're not a big eater, you can definitely share. Large selections of sweets - pastries, Danishes, cupcakes, tarts. Has a cool and hip ambience. Definitely reminds me of the hipster joints in Silverlake and Atwater Village in LA. They accept most major credit cards including AMEX. High walkability score from Greenbelt and the nearby condos. I should have known this place since I arrived 2 weeks ago. It's just 2 blocks away from where I'm staying. Will surely come back! read more
