The first time I went to this office I waited 2 1/2 hours to…read morebe seen for 10 minutes by Dr. Sarnoff. The girl behind the desk, Nikki offered no apology just attitude. Once I was finally seen, Dr. Sarnoff rushed through my exam. I guess to be expected as she was at least 2 1/2 hours behind. I have a history that was important for her to know since she was seeing me for the first time, and I didn't feel heard at all. The next time I went in I had asked about some blemishes on my face and was given a brief consultation to have them taken care of. I made an appointment and gave a $500 deposit in cash. After thinking about it for a week or so I called and said I had changed my mind and would like my deposit back. It took over 2 months and many nasty phone calls from Nikki to FINALLY get my money back. It was one excuse and lie after another. From then on I was extremely uncomfortable any time I had to call the office because I was spoken to rudely and hung up on while I was saying goodbye. After this incident I was very turned off but decided not to let the rudeness of the receptionist dissuade me from seeing my doctor. I was having an episode of welts and rashes on my fingers and toes so I called and asked if I could come in to be seen. Nikki claimed there were no appointments for 4 weeks. When I told her that I was having the outbreak now and may not be in 4 weeks, she suddenly found an appointment in 2 weeks. I still was not convinced I'd have anything to show the doctor in 2 weeks so I asked her what she does when patients have issues like this that need to be seen immediately? She told me she tells them to go to the emergency room and that's what I should do. I told her it's not an emergency per se, just that it needs to be looked at before it's gone! At this point I felt Nikki was not going to make it easy to give me an appointment ever. Every time I called the office she was rude and dismissive of me. At this point I really should have been done here but I decided to give it one last chance because I needed a skin check. I have a strong family history of skin cancer and I've had several spots removed from my body that were "moderate" and needed to be watched. Nikki could not get me in for almost 3 months. I took the appointment and decided to wait. A week or so before the appointment Nikki called to confirm and told me that soon Dr. Sarnoff would not be doing skin checks anymore- that she'd only be doing them for certain patients and because I've been waiting so long, she would do mine but after that it might not be her. My appointment is tomorrow. Today I received a call from a different receptionist (I guess Nikki felt too embarrassed to make this call after speaking to me just last week) that Dr. Sarnoff is no longer doing skin checks so a different doctor would be doing mine tomorrow. I explained that I was aware she was going to be stopping skin checks because Nikki had told me that last week, but she had also said that Dr. Sarnoff would be doing mine because I had waited so long for my appointment. The receptionist told me sorry but no she can't do mine. She has too many cancer patients and Mohs surgeries to do. It is abundantly clear that this practice (Nikki?) plays favorites. If she doesn't like you, watch out because your health might be put at risk. Dr. Sarnoff may be a good doctor, I really don't know because my interaction with her has been so little, but any doctor who would employ staff who are rude, condescending, lie and pick favorites is not a doctor that I'd want taking care of me. Dr. Sarnoff lost me as a patient today. Anyone reading this would say what took so long?

Had a very bad experience with Dr Sarnoff, her staff and the way she runs the office…read more I waited over 45 minutes in an exam room for the dr. I had told the front desk that I needed to be out at a certain time. My appointment was for 12:15, no one came into my room to see me till 1:15-1:20. Also, when I made this appointment, they gave me 11 am, when I called to confirm they said I wasn't in the appointment book. They gave me a noon appointment instead and when they confirmed it was for 12:15! I was told after my visit where I spent a good amount of money for my fillers and Botox that after few weeks I could come in to get things tweaked. I wasn't happy with the results and when the drs assistant finally came in, I told her my concerns and said what I did wouldn't correct these issues. I would have to do laser and more fillers!! I also never saw the doctor! I do feel like they are not honest with what the results will be and just want you to spend more money . I'm upset with myself that I didn't read the reviews before I decided to see Dr. Sarnoff. If I did, I would have DEFINITELY not have come to her. She also charged almost double what other practitioners charge for her fillers and Botox. Very disappointing!!

I wanted to wait to heal before I shared this review. I'm now 6months post op from a breast lift…read moreand implant exchange. I've gone back and forth whether to share this mediocre review, but I feel it's important for others to be informed before committing and know what to expect if you pick this office. In mid-2024, I went in for a consultation with Dr. Nik. My first impression was mixed, he was over an hour late and the NJ office isn't his, it's a rented space with limited seating. I initially gave the benefit of the doubt for the late arrival, assuming it was due to surgery or traffic. When he arrived, he was extremely friendly and personable, very likable in person despite the delay and strange office space. So I changed my thought on him. Following the consultation, I waited weeks to receive my pricing estimate for the procedures. I understand that coordinating with insurance and estimating procedures takes time, so I remained patient. Eventually, I had to follow up myself, and after another wait, the surgical coordinator sent the quote. This was for a breast lift, implant exchange, and C-section scar revision. I spent several weeks considering my options. I ultimately decided to move forward with the breast surgery as I saw photos of his work and was pleased with them, but opted out of the C-section scar revision, as they couldn't provide any photos or examples of previous work. That made me uneasy, and I didn't feel comfortable proceeding without some proof of results. Overall I really like Dr. Nik, and felt comfortable, so I proceeded with the breast surgery. My breast surgery was scheduled for December 2024. The hospital check-in was smooth at LIJ, and I was the first case of the day. Nurses so nice too. However, Dr. Nik was late to my surgery start. The anesthesiologist even commented that he's always late and seemed visibly frustrated. This aligned with my own experience, he has been 1-2 hours behind for nearly every appointment, whether in person or virtual pre and post op. He's not great with time management, or they overbook him which is likely the case. As for the outcome of my surgery, I would describe it as just okay. I'm not thrilled, but I'm not entirely unhappy either. The results are passable, not outstanding, not terrible. The size and lift I have no complaints, but my nipples are slightly uneven, different sizes and one points to the left too much. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going to him, but I wouldn't recommend him enthusiastically either. I am 50/50 and ultimately one should be ecstatic after plastic surgery, but after this I was just very much "oh they're okay" type of attitude. I've told Dr. Nik this and the nurses too. He did send me to have laser in his office, which I've done and hoping the redness from scarring goes down more to help reduce how visibly different sizes the nipples are. In short, the work will get done, and you'll be in safe hands, but expect average results, not perfection, and consistent delays across the board. His staff, like him, are kind and pleasant, but they struggle with time management too so keep that in mind when or if you book.

After paying $470.00 2 weeks ago they now tell me i need to repay for more of the stuff that didn't work. The office is empty and lacks people except these 2 who texted me to come early because Ohers cancelled their appt. I guess Dr. Tehrani doesn't come in as often and his business shows it. I reminded Alicia n Diana I've been a steady customer of Terhanis for years and I know most drs. say if it didn't take come back for touch up! These 2 were Adamant about making good for what i paid for. Besides the injections not working the Dr. Marino and a Trainee Dr. who were in the room to do my injections i paid for i got black n blue from Dr. Marinos lack of tenderness . I asked the office mgr, if Dr. Marino diluted the mixture or was it old why didn't it take.? She said it was done right. I will never recommend this office to anyone . And they should keep up with the jones. If they dont stand behind their product than i just tossed $470.00. Office mgr called me back an hour later and offered for me to return monday to see Dr. Tehrani. Thank you but no thanks. I Already booked with a reliable person for monday no stress and someone who stands behind their work. "kinda like a day late and a dollar short. " for Dr.Terhani money grab in great neck

Bathrooms not clean as they should be in a hospital setting. Tiny emergency room. When you arrive to the ER there are guards on the street checking you go into the hospital parking which is $12 an hour, meanwhile there's free parking for emergency room patients. The guard are a bunch of geniuses trying to figure how to let you in. The nurses are hit or miss as far as being good, we had a good one so shout out to Stephanie on the first floor because she was the only one that was golden, the rest dwindle between mediocre to plain done w nursing so their goal is doing the minimum. The doctors were in that same wavelength, the ER doctor was supposed to visit and when he did he wasn't that informative as to what was happening. They did a CT scan and never came back to let us know the results. The day doctor for sure didn't read the chart because was giving us different info, the chief Dr Jerwyn was despondent, condescending and leaves much to be said about bedside manner, she is truly the example of being too smart doesnt equal being right to lead. I dread to think how her staff suffers. No case worker came to give us the whole picture of whats happening so we had to piece together the puzzle. Overall it served its purpose on an emergency but long term care is not recommended.
