( yet they put it in the garbage and your left with Zero the remaining botox was not refunded ( i requested repeatedly for BCUZ I HATE GOING THERE NOW!)..so im forced to go there (brant st) in order to use the remaining botox. why? Rude customer service. I was rushed and told other people were waiting even though I was on time for my appointment and I waited almost 1/2hr. I was charged $900 for two fillers then found an offer on Facebook for $200 each after my visit. When I asked after my visit no one would get back to me. I mentioned that in my google review and they replied I was told it wasn't offered at that location, which I was not. If I knew I would have gone to the other location. I didn't get my receipt until I had to ask for it after I left. They lie, are very rude, and over charge. With so much competition out there, I wouldn't waste my time or money there. CAUTION: I strongly recommend that you DO NOT choose, New You, for any cosmetic procedure. This is a highly unethical business. I changed my mind about everything midway through the transaction after discovering that the verbal agreement that we made during the consultation was not reflective in the written financial agreement. I caught the discrepancy and immediately brought it to their attention and asked for my money back as trust was broken at that point. That's when they refused the refund making up invalid claims. Why would I ever have someone do a cosmetic procedure on me when they have already proven that they can't be trusted?? I have reported them to Police and to my bank for refusing to refund my money. This place is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Do yourself a favour and do not give them your business. It's a regret waiting to happen. I wish I had read the reviews before I entered there. If I could give a negative review, I would. I decided to try injections for the first time at New You on Brant Street in Burlington. Not Botox but similar - I can't remember the brand. Regardless, their website said they had April sales. So, I booked a consultation and met someone. Sorry I don't know any names as NONE of them introduced themselves. So she said the units would be $7 each and I told her I didn't want to go over $350. She said ok, if you did 40 units that would be $280. I said that was perfect. This was on a Wed so I booked to come back the Friday of that week as they had nothing on that day that I went for the consultation. They texted me on Friday and asked if I could reschedule so no problem, I made the appt for the Monday after the weekend. So that was yesterday (4-11), I go for my appt and talked to the girl about what I wanted. I said I didn't have a lot of lines and was told 40 units would be good so it would be $280 - I didn't want to go over $350. She agreed! Said I shouldn't go less than 40 but that many will be good for me. So we agreed to do that. Then it got time for me to pay and the girl went and talked to the manager who THEN told me that special was ONLY for that day that I was in. This is when my blood started to boil. NO ONE told me the $7/unit was a DAY special. She started to say oh our head office won't let me charge that, that was only for that day. But she agreed ON THAT DAY, the manager was the one who booked me for two days later, they were the ones who had to reschedule me for the Monday. They knew I wasn't getting anything done on that day but never ONCE did they say that if I don't get it done that day, that it wouldn't be $7/unit. And even yesterday when I was there, I told the girl that did the procedure that I wanted 40 units because I didn't want to go over $350. The manager just kept saying we can't do that, we can't do that, our head office won't let me. OMG........I wanted to punch her. I've never in my life felt more upset and mad. They were absolutely 100% scamming me. What a horrible person to do that to someone. WHY did she book me if she knew I couldn't have that deal!!!! Or at least tell me that deal of $7/unit was ONLY for that day. Then it would have been up to me if I wanted to proceed or not. She's an absolute horrible person to deal with and she knew exactly what she was doing. I've never in my life used the C word but she's a perfect example of one. She knew she was scamming me. She knew! I would never recommend this place EVER! This was my first time there, first time getting injections and what a horrible experience. :( read more
