I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this sleep clinic was frustrating enough…read morethat I feel others should be aware of it. I completed a sleep study at this clinic approximately a year ago. The technician who conducted the study was professional and courteous. During the study, I was fitted with several masks, and we determined that a nasal mask appeared to be the best option for me. Not long after the study, I received a call informing me that the sleep study had not been completed correctly and that I would need to return for another test. I was then told the repeat study would cost approximately $175. I was shocked by this. If the original study was not performed correctly, I did not understand why I would be expected to pay for a second study. When I questioned the charge, I explained that the mistake was not mine. After my concerns were raised, I was informed that the doctor had decided not to repeat the study after all. What made even less sense to me was that instead of performing a new sleep study, I was placed on a BiPAP machine. I struggled with the machine from the beginning and never felt that it was helping me. I was told that the machine could be monitored and adjusted remotely, yet I was later asked to bring the machine into the office for adjustments. To be fair, one staff member I dealt with during this process was very kind, professional, and respectful. She took the time to review my machine and make adjustments. I appreciated her efforts. However, I was charged additional fees for these visits and was told I would need to continue returning for further adjustments. As someone living on disability income and dealing with severe chronic pain, repeated office visits and recurring charges created a financial burden that was difficult to justify, especially when I had been told the machine could be adjusted remotely. The biggest concern I have is that I was told the original sleep study was not done correctly, yet I was never given the opportunity to have the study properly repeated before being placed on a BiPAP machine. To this day, I do not understand why a corrected sleep study was not performed. Another concern is that throughout this entire process, I never personally met with the doctor. Every interaction was through assistants or staff members. Unfortunately, after months of frustration, I stopped using the BiPAP because it did not appear to be helping me. I am now seeking another sleep specialist and discussing alternative treatment options with my primary care physician. My advice to anyone considering this clinic is to ask detailed questions about repeat testing, follow-up charges, equipment adjustments, insurance billing, and exactly how treatment decisions are made if there are problems with the original sleep study. This experience left me with more questions than answers, and I ultimately lost confidence in the care I received.

My scores are now 100% almost every night. Dr. Dennis and his staff are amazing. They are all experts and very knowledgeable about CPAP therapy. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are the best. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Dennis for 16 years. If you have sleep apnea or think you might, go see Dr. Dennis and his staff. You won't be disappointed.

The young lady was: Professional, Patient, Kind, Well knowledgeable, Helpful, Thoughtful, Always had a caring smile no matter what I put her through with my fears and panick attacks. The first time all the hook ups frightened me so I didn't let her finish. I had no one available to pick me up so she ended up driving me home even though I live 20 minutes out of the way because I had no one to pick me up. My health continued to deteriorate so I had to return. My husband was supposed to pick me up but I was panicking that he couldn't find the place at 4:00 AM, so she once again, drove me home and would not allow her to give her gas money. That's awesome service!

letter to the Dr: I…read morerecently had an appointment at your office, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to see you due to not having my new patient paperwork with me. It did not sit well with me that your office cancelled my appointment because of this oversite. I was made to feel embarrassed and was treated poorly by your receptionist. I understand why you have this policy, but there is no accountability for it on your end. I called your office on Monday to see if any other times were available for my Thursday appointment. The receptionist said no but asked me if I would be interested in a call if something opened sooner. I received a call later that day informing me there was a last-minute opening for 1:30 on Tuesday. I took the appointment, but she never reaffirmed that I needed the paperwork. She never asked me if I had received it. If anything, she made it more confusing by telling me I had to be there 30 minutes early for paperwork. I wasn't asked if I received my paperwork until I arrived at your office 30 minutes early as requested. I had been waiting to see you for over a month. When I told them that I didn't have it and wasn't sure if I ever received it, she immediately told me I had to reschedule. Again, I understand and appreciate this policy, but there needs to be a better way to disclose it other than seeing it on your wall for the first time on appointment day. I chose you due to the positive reviews. However, due to the situation, I feel it's best for me to move on. I have been inconvenienced by having to find another Sleep Physician, wait another month, and take more time off work. I have a sleep issue that I was trying to see you for, but the lack of information about your policies have left me abandoned.

The worst, and why I can't recommend them, is my prescription was written on 5/30, the tech said she would send it right out and I should hear something the following week. I called back on 6/11 to follow up. She did not send the script out until I called to follow up. I spent the day before in the hospital and if she and done as she said or I followed up days not a week later, I may have avoided an ER visit and hospital stay.

I have trouble sleeping. I have for years. I don't know why, which is why I ended up here…read more - After many visits to my doctor, and after trying many things, they referred me to a neurologist who ordered a sleep study be done. This is where I went to have it done. - I'd always wanted to have a sleep study done. I've seen them on TV and have always been curious about them. I even remember Alan Alda going through one on an episode of Scientific Amerian Frontiers. So I was really curious how it would work out. - You'd think with today's technology it would all be wireless, but it's just as complex, if not more so, then what you see on TV. - It's a great facility. You get your own bedroom with your own private bathroom. It's like a hotel but smaller and much cleaner. There's even a bathrobe on the hook behind the door! Pretty nice. - Anyhow, you show up at night for your sleep study. When I went, there were two people working for us; Solomon and Katie. Both were super friendly and helpful people. They assign you to your room and let you get settled in. Each room also has cable TV, as well as wifi access, so you'll still be able to update Facebook telling all those people that you're participating in a sleep study. - After awhile they'll come in, tell you to "put your jammies on", then they'll come back and wire you up. I was all tired before that happend, just chilling in my room. The wiring process is extensive, and it pretty much got me wired myself. They glue and stick sensors all over your body. Your scalp, your temples, forehead, even some on your legs. After you're wired up you get into bed, and they plug you in. They also put a heartbeat monitor on your finger. You can still watch TV or play Candy Crush. It's lights out at 11 PM though - they wake you at around 5:00 AM. - The bed is comfortable, the room is comfortable. There's a big fan on the side if you need some air or white noise. What's super-creepy is the big camera pointed right at your bed! They watch you all night long. Literally. To make sure you're ok. - Oh - the creepiest part - if you need anything, you just speak and they'll come get you! Like, if you need to use the restoom at 3 AM, you just say "Hey Katie" or whatever, and they'll be right in to unplug you. Weird, right? But nice. - So it's super creepy to have to sleep with people watching you and wires all over the place. The wires were a bit much, I thought. But overall the experience was as I anticipated - a restless nights sleep in a comfortable place. - They wake you in the morning around 5-5:30. You fill out a little paperwork and you're free to leave. You can use your bathroom to shower up if you want - it's really nice and there's shampoo and conditioner and everything. Not to mention that nice fluffy robe! Me, I took off. I was up early enough to make it home to get ready for work. - I thought it was pretty cool, and the people working here are super-nice and comforting. I didn't sleep well, but that's my fault. It's also the reason why I was here. You don't get your results right away or anything. You just go. - But if you need to go here for a sleep study, you'll like it! Good night!
