It's not often you get to rave about a circumcision... but let me tell you moms and dads, Dr. Witz is *the guy* in the Seattle area to come to - which are the exact words our OB used when recommending him. And she didn't lead us astray; Dr. Witz and his entire staff were fantastic from first phone call to follow up. Let's put something out there right away - Dr Witz does over 1500 circumcisions a year. And he doesn't work on Mondays. You do the math. If you're looking for a specialist who really knows what he's doing, it doesn't take Malcolm Gladwell to point out that this guy is an expert. But even beyond that, my partner and I couldn't get over how clear and comfortable they made the entire experience. Arranging was simple. An email was sent the day we made the appointment with all of the instructions on what to bring and what to fill out before we came. Nicole checked us in, gave us a full rundown of what to expect, and showed us to our own large private room that was far more comfortable and better decorated than our own nursery. Next Dr Witz came in and explained both the procedure and all the before and after care in detail. Our little dude went in and was back less than 10 minutes later (well, most of him was back), Nicole helped us again with a quick aftercare demo, and that was it! I was dreading it so much you'd think it was my own penis getting sliced, but our little guy didn't seem to mind outside of the fact that it interfered with meal time. (He is my son after all.) Dr Witz and his staff see a ton of patients every day, so my best advice to have as smooth of an experience as we had is to carefully read all of the instructions on what to bring and fill out before coming. I can imagine how annoying it would be for the staff to continually explain that no, they do not have extra diapers and no, they do not have extra antibiotic ointment, and no, they do not have baby tylenol... ad nauseam.

    Happy Penis, Happy baby!

Nicole at the front desk was really responsive during the appointment setting process and was great at the appointment too.

I really enjoyed the care my children received before the change in management a short while back…read morebut since there has been big changes, I have noticed shift in quality of care. recently my child broke a bone and we needed the care team to coordinate with our medical in a timely fashion so my child could be properly treated by an orthopedic specialist. I was told that it would be handled by the next day but when I was told to expect a call or call them, It was impossible to get through to them for the durability of a week. prolong my child's ability to get his broken bone treated. when I left a voicemail expressing the urgency, I never received a call back nor any response or apology for dropping the ball when a child cared for by them had a broken bone. I eventually felt unsafe with them caring for my children and found a much better primary care physician who handled everything in just a day. which is also a previous physician that worked at stepping stone while under the previous management. if the management was still under the previous owners, the rating would be much higher.

The staff is great and so helpful explaining things to me. They work really well with my baby regardless of how well rested he is. Scheduling and payment with insurance is easy. They also were happy to decrease frequency when we made progress and want to make sure that we're set developmentally before completing our time with them. My son probably loves this place the most since there are so many fun toys .

Like many others, you CANNOT say anything at your child's wellness exam and have to teach your kids…read morenot to say anything as well or else Alina from billing will charge you an "office visit" fee. My friend got a charge for the provider writing for a referral that they didn't even want. Another friend got charged when their child answered how school was going for them. Anything and everything will be used against you unfortunately. Even a medical form for school requires an extra surcharge. These are our kids and the allegro practice is to have you be silent about any and all concerns you or your child may have.

We love our original doctor whom we followed and our current doctor. Both are wonderful, but the admin part of has been awful. When we were new patients without access to the online portal system, it took me forever to call to wait for a human to talk to me. When we were in the clinic, the care team (doctors and nurses) are great, but the receptionist was like non-existing. We just walked into the designated room per text, which was fine. The worst part of Allegro is their billing department. They once billed under the wrong codes for vaccines, which was supposed to be completely covered if billing correctly, and sent us an invoice. I called the insurance company and realized the mistake, so I called them to correct the error. I understand that people make mistakes, so as long as they correct the error I would be okay. They agreed to make corrections, but they kept complaining how bad my insurance company was... Then again, this happened to a recent visit where I took my son for a wellness check up and had a brief conversation about growth. When you go to a check up and get measured, it's natural to have some conversation about it. The billing department insisted that it was a medical concern and billed me for it on top of already billing me for the comprehensive check up. According to the guy at the billing department, the wellness check up only included growth recording, so when we have any conversation about it would be categorized as a medical issue and would be billed as a regular office visit. I guess we just shouldn't even talk during the check up. So ridiculous! When I emailed them over the patient portal, they actually responded me with a response for someone else. How unprofessional! Since both doctors we love are no longer practicing here next year, we won't come back as we don't want to deal with their horrible admin team.
