We saw Staci Scott at Village Pediatrics for ADHD med management and genetic testing review. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience with no useful recommendations. Our teen arrived unwell and we asked if she should wear a mask but were told no (headache, nausea, post-flu), mentioned it repeatedly, but there was no basic empathy or accommodation--no temp check, no relief suggestions, and loud talking continued despite requests for quiet. When our teen felt like vomiting and nearly passing out, the response felt dismissive. The appointment ended abruptly after Staci got upset, stormed out, and left us with no med plan or next steps. Our kid ended up throwing up in the waiting area with no follow-up help or call afterward. We own that our teen was moody (sick + ADHD), but we expected better de-escalation skills, empathy, and flexibility--especially from a specialist in teen ADHD. Lacked strong interpersonal skills and neurodiversity awareness in tough moments. Wouldn't recommend. Look at her google reviews as other families had a similar experience. Kristi the other nurse only works one day a week and the other one left. There's no other "medical" staff so you'll likely be stuck with Staci and no alternatives. We have never seen a single person there in the photo she has of her practice. read more

Finding Staci Scott and Village Pediatrics felt like the biggest relief of my life! While dealing with a very challenging medical situation for our oldest child, we previously had left 2 other practices because we felt that they couldn't meet our needs. It's not an exaggeration to say that Staci came through for us in the biggest way when we felt like we were drowning. She has continued to do so for nearly 10 years and for all four of our children. She always gets us in same day if needed, is punctual, spends a lot of time with us, and never makes us feel rushed. Staci responds to messages same day and gets refills in for us as quickly as humanly possible if I ever drop the ball. Staci has been tireless in her efforts to help us find answers to challenging medical issues, and she is always current on the latest research. She is kind and patient with my children, even on their hardest days. If you have a neurodivergent child, I cannot recommend Staci enough. The front office staff (Katelyn and Sara) are wonderful too. They know me and all of my children on a first name basis, and it feels like they bend over backwards to always help me whenever I am in a bind, whether it's trying to fit me into a very full schedule, get a message to Staci between appointments, deal with insurance, you name it. They are welcoming and kind to my children, and always try to help them find a favorite sticker, no matter how long it might take them to decide . On rare occasions when Staci is unavailable, we have seen other practitioners and have always been pleased with their care. The office is clean and warm and friendly, and feels like a comfortable and safe space to my children. My youngest is 2 and he recently started pretending that one of his cars is named Dr Staci. If one of his brothers has an appointment, he always wants to go too. All of my children would agree, Staci and Village Pediatrics feel like a part of our family in the best way possible. read more

We took our newborn daughter here for her first two checkups because our other pediatrician was overwhelmed with RSV last fall. This practice was not a fit for us. Our biggest complaint is that Staci Scott, Nurse Practitioner, gave us unsound advice that caused us a lot of stress: Our newborn daughter poops every 3-5 days. This concerned us initially because we thought maybe it was too infrequent. Staci contributed to this concern by telling us that it is not healthy for a baby to poop less than once a day, and she recommended a course of probiotics. The probiotics upset our daughter's stomach, leading to more frequent spit ups. We were a bit distraught! Luckily we reached out to a pediatric gastroenterologist (MD) at Overlake who explained that healthy breastfed babies sometimes poop as little as once a week, and that frequency of pooping was not the primary determinant. Instead this doctor asked questions like: - is the baby passing gas regularly? - is the baby urinating frequently? - is the baby keeping food down generally? - Is the baby thriving otherwise? This helped us to understand that our daughter is perfectly healthy in this respect and we stopped worrying at night about this being a health concern. Staci also referred us to Kimberly Santiago at Airsync Integrative Dentistry which in retrospect was not a provider we would have chosen if we hadn't been overwhelmed by having a month old newborn. read more

My daughter and son both go here and they love it! The doctors and nurses give a lot more 1on1 time so that my kids can ask questions and learn about themselves as compared to Alegro pedriatics for example. Would recommend! read more

It is sad that this office is "not accepting children with Medicaid insurance at this time". But if private insurance was offered you could care for the kids right? That is unfortunate. Seems to be all about the money.. Otherwise this seems like it could be a good pediatrics office if given the opportunity. read more

We had a wonderful initial visit with Dr. Staci! Kristen at the front desk went above and beyond to get our records transferred from San Diego. Dr. Staci saw both my 13 and 7 yr at the same time. I felt like she was very thorough and engaged well with my kids. They left the office happy even after getting shots. We scheduled another visit for my son who has had allergies his whole life, she is the first Dr. that has taken his allergies seriously and showed concern for his quality of life and the king term affects allergies have on people. I'd drive any distance for Dr. Staci's care. From our first visit several years ago through present day, she has been practical, logical, professional supportive, understanding and positive about our childrens healthcare. She takes our fears and worries seriously, works based off of research and facts, treating the child with the utmost competency. What I have noticed about her and the practitioners in this office is that they care so much about their patients AND their community at large. This isn't just a pediatric clinic, they have become partners, friends, family. We couldn't ask for more and our children are in excellent hands. As a mom of two young boys, I love that I feel supported and can get all my questions asked. We moved from another state that had a larger practice and we were always rushed. Staci is wonderful. A good pediatrician is worth the 40-minute drive we make to Issaquah. Staci is very competent and has a wealth of knowledge in pediatric care. Dr. Staci is wonderful. We've been taking our now 15 month old daughter there for a year. I love that it's a small practice and that Dr. Staci remembers us. She's a good mix of newest research and alternative methods (essential oils and such things). She's also a good listener to first parent worries and never makes me feel anxious about small things. Once all of us got sick with a stomach virus and Staci worked with us over the phone because we couldn't/didn't want to come in and didn't charge us anything. The office is clean and fun and scheduling is usually easy, though she doesn't always have a receptionist so sometimes no one answers the phone but they are good at returning calls. Overall I'm really happy with the care we receive and would recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician. read more

Words can't describe how thankful we are for Staci and the amazing care she provides our daughters. After a rough few years with our oldest getting sick,what literally felt like every other day, a friend told us about Staci and that we MUST start seeing her. After Staci discovered that our daughter has severe allergies(yes, she even allergy tests right there in her office) and got us hooked on probiotics, vitamin C, and introduced us to the amazing world of essential oils, we have gone all fall and winter with no sickness (I can't believe I said that out loud). Our daughters health and happiness did a 180 and it feels so good to have a pediatrician spend the extra time, be so knowledgeable, and be so willing to take a natural and realistic approach to healthcare. Village Pediatrics is awesome! Not only do you get one on one care from Staci but she schedules her appointments so she can spend a TON of time with each person and family to answer all of your questions and go over all of the information that is pertinent to your child's age and development level. We used to go to Pediatric Associates and it is a breath of fresh air to spend quality time with a provider instead of waiting for people to come in and out of your room while you hear other kids screaming after shots. Her office space is clean, spacious and new. It is also nice that there is only one appointment scheduled at a time so you don't need to worry about multiple encounters with sick kids when you are going in for a well-visit. read more

We love Village Pediatrics!!! Staci Scott is an incredible Nurse Practitioner with a huge heart for kids. She makes the entire exam for our 3 boys fun and tear free. Her office is clean, organized and conveniently located in Issaquah. She responds to emails, texts and phone calls in a timely manner and makes your family feel like they are of utmost importance. One of my sons suffers from Asthma and she goes above and beyond to make sure he is breathing well and is comfortable during a bad attack or bad cold. I continue to recommend Staci Scott to new families in the area or families looking to have the one on one care they are searching for. She is knowledgable about other Doctors in the area and is always willing to refer another specialist if needed. Staci is AMAZING!! Both of my teenage kids are patients at her clinic and they both have had good experiences. I was concerned about how my 14 year old boy was going to react to having a "woman doctor" and so far, he has been great. Neither of them complain about going (unless they need a shot!) and so far, things have been very smooth. I first found Village Pediatrics through Yelp and had a wonderful initial experience with nurse practitioner Sara. However, when Sara left for a new opportunity the practice did not inform us, so we were surprised with a new practitioner for my son's annual appointment. I found the new practitioner, Danielle to be quite condescending. I didn't feel that she truly listened to the questions I had about my 4 year old son or my newborn. In fact, I felt that instead of basing her answers to my questions on medical fact, she instead compared my child and experience to that of hers with her own daughter. To be honest, I often felt judged as a parent. When my family decided to move practices to one closer to our home, we were changed a $250 patient transfer fee. I would advise against this practice. The doctor that is often referenced in every other review was never in the office during the 1.5 years and multiple visits we had to this office. read more

I moved here from the south (a little bitty town in AL to be exact). This Pediatrician business here in WA literally was a night & day difference to everything I had experienced down there. Finding this Pediatrician here in Issaquah was definitely a blessing. I don't know any mother who doesn't wish to find a fantastic doctor for her children to grow up with. I read in one of the very nice reviews that it seemed country, etc. but from living in AL, south, country, I can say that no place I had ever been to for children in the super country south ever matched this, not even close. Staci Scott runs a new, clean & hospitable facility with an old-time charm of attention and care that used to only exist back on Little House on the prairie!;) lol! But truly, she takes her time to answer All questions, helps you to understand and address the root cause of health issues instead of just treating symptoms! And makes sure you feel confident if any meds are being prescribed. She is Not quick to throw Rx at you and uses a great balance of homeopath/natural solutions when possible! We have taken our daughters to Village Pediatrics for two years and I am always so impressed when I leave our visits. Staci is knowledgeable and also pragmatic. I appreciate that she presents current literature when making treatment recommendations, is not quick to recommend unnecessary interventions and offers complementary alternatives (essential oils, etc). Our second daughter has been plagued by ear infections and Staci has responded to email questions on weekends and also very promptly during clinic hours. They have always been able to fit us in same day for urgent issues and Kristin (who is fabulous!) is extremely accommodating when trying to schedule routine visits as well. Our daughters love Staci and actually enjoy going to see her during visits. Staci is very engaging and is the type of provider they would actually want to talk to about any personal health issues that arise as they get older.
