It's pretty rare to find a place that doesn't use conventional chemicals in their manicures and…read morepedicures. That's what drew me to Greentoes. While it's true that they are more expensive than conventional nail salons, there's a reason for that. You'll also need to book pretty far in advance if you are looking for a certain time of day, for example a weekday morning. I'm not someone who gets my nails done on a regular basis, it's kind of just a special occasion type of thing. And also results will vary just depending on the technician you get. I've seen at least three different people there and the end result is always different. Generally though, if you are looking for a place to go that offers options that are better than the super-toxic options, this is a place to check out.

Thankfully, Greentoes had several appointments the next day I arrived in town. I got a call from the salon 10-minutes before my appointment saying my technician was running 45 minutes behind. Almost there already I had to pivot my plans for the morning. They were very nice and offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere pressing I needed to be that morning. At my appointment, the service was great. I got greeted and seated right away. I got to pick out my color and then the service began. It was a lovely moment to relax for myself. The foot and calf massage was the best. I didn't want her to stop. It was a bit on the pricier side than I usually pay at my normal spot. I usually get a gel polish, but the gel was an add-on to any already high priced service. I just got the regular polish and am a bit disappointed that the polish, only 5 days later, is kind of messed up already. Especially with how much it cost.

I decided to do a whole new set since I had some lifting/bubbles and I'm on an extended trip without my nail kit. My nails came out amazing!!! She is super OCD and will have your set looking amazing. The salon is so nice inside and well decorated. Coming back for a pedicure tomorrow and for my fills while I am in town. Thank you!!
