Anyway, I was a walk-in and my daughters got a simple haircut. Erica cut the older one's hair and had no issues. The younger one was cut by an older lady who did not speak English and gave the poor girl an uneven haircut. Anyway, for two haircuts it was $35. Both Erica and the older lady insisted on shampooing the hair. For $35 I could have gone next door and had all three of our toes painted. This was the worse thing of all...the worse was the owner, Cynthia Rodriguez, talking to another employee about all the "negative Yelp reviews." HAHAHAHA. And here I am, Yelping away. As a professional, you should take your complaints about negative Yelps to the back room where there are NO clients. I grew up in cosmetology thanks to my mother who owned a number of upscale salons before her transition to higher education. The one thing I learned was that if it is a place in a strip mall and it's empty, there is a reason why. The next thing I learned was that if you walk in and see box colored looking bleach blond hair, turn around and walk away. Although, I had a horrible experience prior (when they were still on Ajo Way) I do believe in second chances but not here. Next time, I'll just drive to the other hair cut place in the strip mall.

Walked out with what looked like a a layer but not even close the the one in the picture. Before i left i made my balayage appointment and turned out it was with the same hairdresser which i found out the day of my appointment. I was fine with that bcuz i am trying them out. And really wanted this to work out so i dont have to keep looking for a hairdresser. So i specifically showed again a picture of how i want my hair done and i was willing to spend the time and money as long as i get the best result. Oh Erica/ericka is her name, so she was again confident that she can do what i asked and showed in picture. So we finished! Not even closed but she said its pretty and she liked it a lot! So i went along with it and asked for her to take pictures. I saw it and i didnt like it! Not even close to what i was going for! I went home tired after the long process, washed my hair and style the way i wanted to see if it will come out better. But sadly no! So i called the shop and spoke with Cynthia I explained my outcome from the visit and she said thats fine come back on monday and she can fix it. Now here comes Monday! Today! Went in with optimism and as soon as i walked in there she was with another person. I greeted her and she seem to have already forgotten who i was, then as i explain that i have spoken with Cynthia about my hair turning out lighter and not close to how i wanted. She then said no she didnt. So I started to explain and right away she was cutting me off like okay what did i need to fix or how do i want her to fix it etc. then this is where i got so annoyed because she wasnt even giving me a chance to make since of what i needed and seemed like she was rushing me get to my point of what i needed! Argh! So frustrated! So then i showed her the picture and the picture of what she took and she said well u need more bleach to get that color. And i was so upset that i just said ok just fix it. I started to explain how I initially told her I didn't want to go light! But still wanted a little color and i wanted a balayage! So she said okay tone down is what i need! I just nodded and let her then as she finished i saw my hair way darker and looked like the way my hair was when I first came in. She then asked me how is that i just got up and ask what i owed her and soon as she said non i could not wait to get out of that place and I promise i will never ever return again! By the way i wanted my hair done becuz i have white hairs and explained that too and guess what they are still visible! So upsetting to have spent 224 because I tipped her 15% and got nothing out of it! I hope no one has to endure what i had to endured with this place! Not a good place to get hair - this is my second post of the same review because I thought the owner would actually try to resolve my issue. But she never even bother! Be careful with this place! Go somewhere else!

Here is why: 2 years ago I had my eyebrows tattooed by a technician in Texas. I needed a touch-up, mainly because I never really liked the end result from the previous technician. So I asked Skin Appeal in Tucson for a referral to a facial tattoo technician and they recommended Julia at Electric Beauty. I made an appointment with Julia and had her re-tattoo my eyebrows and she did a WONDERFUL job! See pic. (If you don't accept the numbing ointment on your eyebrows before the procedure, you will feel tiny scrapes against your skin while the procedure takes place, but its just for an instant & then it goes away quickly). When the procedure was done, she gives you medication and an ointment to put on your eyebrows, and I followed her instructions to a tee. Like I said, I LOVE them. I may go a little thicker next time, but what I have now, I wanted, so the thickness I have now wasn't Julia's idea. Then, today, even though I was apprehensive, I decided to go ahead and have her tattoo my top eye lid, with black liner. The procedure did sting a little, because again, I didn't want to be numbed, but after the procedure was done, I was fine. She said the swelling will be 2 days. I'm excited! and I can't wait to see the final result. I have my re-check and liner touch up on 4-2-22, so Ill update my review after that, with a photo.
