Recommended Newcoast F. by sellers Broker. Ran my credit at a bank that doesn't even service Hawaii loans the first time. Second time they ran it, Kurt Wilbur was unfamiliar with preferred ships mortgage requirement for Hawaii. Was pre approved and moved to close with broker. The boat I'm purchasing does not even meet criteria to be documented but bank financing with requires it. I'm $1000 out for conducting the Survey. Over a month of back and forth to be told 12 hours from closing the deal won't go through. Every conversation started with me asking for updates. Zero real questions were answered when requesting changes from bank. Any real movement was work on my end to move things forward. More than dissatisfied with service. Glad I won't have any further ties with them. Rating would be a ZeRo star if I could. read more

danger danger!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wouldn't touch this organization again if you paid me. we started the loan process back on 4/25 or so and the money was wired today 5/13. Jeff, Olivia and Ashley do not know what they are doing. it would have been nice if only one person was helping, but none of them really helped. they had us going to get papers notarized 3 different times and running in circles. ashley asked me to email the loan docs the night before they were going to get the documents. she said she could look at them when she got in and wouldn't have to wait until 11am when the overnight packages come in. so why at almost 2pm the same day, did Olivia request that i scan in documents and send them to her. what a waste of our time!!!!!!!!! why can't anyone do their jobs????????? note to self everyone.... go directly through a bank and don't use a finance company. they charged our customer around $1,900 to do an inspection on the motorhome. the gentleman came to do the inspection and didn't really have a clue what he was looking for and stood around for 1/2 hour bsing. didn't want the slide rooms opened, etc. then they charged around $1,900 for the inspection & fees. what fees????????? another thing, we have another transaction going on in arizona at an rv sales lot that also said they have dealth with newcoast financial, and won't use them again. whoever reads this, be warned!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

She walked us through the entire process, very competitive rates and fees associated with our purchase. 3/20 Update So after emailing Newcoast about not getting my registration, I received a reply by their so called titling specialist that they have contacted the fish and boat commission and my registration would be mailed out this week. After thinking about the situation, I asked my wife to please contact the fish and game commission about the registration as we need the registration to use the boat. Good thing I made that decision. It ended up that the paperwork that they sent in was incorrect and a payment was needed to correct the situation. My wife paid the fee (this was already paid to Newcoast) to release the suspension. It will still take 2 weeks to get the registration. I was completely lied to to as they do not care about anyone after they get their fees. Sad part is,,,,, I sent them the receipt that was paid,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and I got crickets!!!! That pretty much sums up the company's agenda. If anyone is considering using them, please contact me and I will share all the Bull**** they have shared with me through this process. read more

Stay away from this company! They are the worst! They tell you what you want to hear to get you the loan, then hold up the paperwork so you cant use the boat you purchased. Samantha Strott was the person I dealt with. Once the loan was funded she wants to have nothing more to do with me. I keep emailing, trying to get my registration paperwork & she keeps telling me to call Annapolis yacht documentation ( Carrie Schmidt) They don't return calls. Now I'm sitting on a 130k boat & a slip I purchased that I cant use. Scam artists at their best. I'm filing a complaint with consumer protection. read more

Stay away! Classic over promise, to get the loan, and under deliver on timeline and customer service by a long shot. Stated loan would be completed within 3 days and funding 3 days later to get the deal. Everything requested has been returned same day and we just finished the second week of no funding. I have purchased many autos and boats in my life and this is by far the slowest company to deal with. I anticipate these guys are just a 3rd party. Go directly to the lender and save yourself a ton of time. They can get it done 10X faster. read more

I had the worst experience with them.Totally unprofessional and condesending.Horrid interest rates slow service with minimal amount of honesty and communication.Emails and messages that don't reflect truth or accuracy.Bragging about integrity and years in company and yet no such behaivior.The basic registration took 5 weeks and blamed paperwork mistakes which they made.Unable to use vessel because timing was so slow.30 day limit passed.Arrogance and inefficiency beyond my wildest dreams.Threats and sarcasm from joe who spent the majority of his messages patting himself on the back.Never,ever trust a person like this!A true legend in his own mind!Less then 1 star! read more

I have referred RV and Boat Loan customers to Newcoast for 5+ years, and have always received an approval or other outcome within 1-2 days of application. As for the person saying it took 10 days for an approval, I would have serious doubts or would have to believe there may have been a credit issue, and Newcoast was continuing to try and find a lender who would be able to possibly help. Newcoast is just as fast to give back a decline if the customer doesn't qualify. That is all I could ask for. I don't believe there would be any circumstance to cause a huge delay, unless the customer was slow in sending back requested information. Anyway... I just happened to see this Newcoast Yelp, and after reading the 1-star review, I actually signed up for Yelp, (for the first time ever), and had to respond because the review was undeserved and was likely mistaken, or misinformed. I'll continue to use Newcoast - because I have used different companies for my RV and Boat Financing clients in the past years, and none have surpassed the level of service that Newcoast has provided.
