Drunk. And knocked unconcious. When making an offer, I wanted to offer approx 5 percent less than the asking price. My agent told me "oh no, we don't want to insult them." Excuse me, who are you reprsenting!? Also, on my final walk through...she was annoyed that I caught a few things that had NOT been repaired according to the sales contract. Luckily my real estate attorney forced the sellers to escrow the money for repairs at closing, so I did not get screwe over...but had it been up to my agent I'd have just shut my mouth and closed the deal so she could get the comission. My agent was so...unambitious, unassertive, un real estate agent-like. I kept asking around at how much experience she had, thinking she MUST BE new. No dice, she had 10 years of experience and still had no answers to my questions, and constantly having to get back to me after she talked with the boss. It's like, how do you not know these things!? Or...anything for that matter!? Needless to say, I will do much more research when I find my next agent. I chalk it up to naivete and youth, and I will not make the same mistake again. They do have a nice office...but that's the only positive I can think of.

At first I tried many times and spend a lot of time to get the final definite procedure to do the sublease, which you know the whole thing is really torturing me: I seldom could contact with Adam and get stuck in everyday' waiting. After the sublease guy's the application online and paid the charge,I waited for 11 days to get Adam'reply that the guy's application online is approved but what never told me is that I should wait for the other people who rent the house' agreement! And then I have to get stuck in another time' waiting and I don't know how long should I wait. Because I can not get Adam' reply any more. Really torturing me a long time. I just don't know why the simple things become so complex. In other property management, it is quick that let the previous tenant and future tenant sit together with the agency and sign the contract on the spot and solve the problem. 5 stars for my main man Peter!…read more I'll start my review off by answering some question marks some people may have based off of some of the previous reviews. Are responses to text instant? No. Did that affect the quality of Peter's communication skills? No. We live in an instant, consumer society world. With that being said, when we are dealing with individuals, we should always bare in mind that they are just that - indivuals. While work is how we sustain ourselves, we still (hopefully) have lives outside of work. Peter had assured us before applying for the place that he would hold the unit for us so long as our applications were approved by the landlord. Peter was true to his word. We viewed the placed, were leased up and moved in with just 5 days left of our apartment search. While responses weren't instant, results were. We didn't have to go through any arbitrary, extensive, application process. It was quick, easy, and sufficient... which was great for our busier schedules. The unit, and landlord he set us up with are amazing! We are so happy with our move - and are so grateful to have found Peter while searching for an apartment. If we decide to someday purchase a home, we will definitely reach back out to Peter. *****As a final note, As a young professional and POC, it's often times hard to deal with agents. I have had agents tell me that units were no longer available upon meeting me, and seeing that I was brown. (Despite me having good credit, and a great salary). The reason I am adding this to my review, is to let all my fellow poc professionals know that Peter is a safe person. I recommend working with him.
