The enrollment discussions emphasized structured guidance, ongoing support, strategy development, and a learning environment designed to help students apply rules consistently with disciplined risk management. While instructional components were provided, my experience did not fully align with the expectations set at enrollment. Certain tools and community features that were described as meaningful parts of the learning ecosystem were either unavailable or did not function in the way I understood they would. Although alternatives were mentioned, the overall structure and accessibility felt different from what I anticipated when making the enrollment decision. I understand that OTA identifies itself strictly as an educational institution and not as an investment advisory or signal service. However, the way trade examples, success narratives, and consistency concepts were framed during marketing and class discussions contributed to expectations that, in my personal experience, were difficult to reconcile with real-world results. This review is not about individual instructors or staff professionalism. My interactions were generally professional. My concerns relate to program value relative to enrollment representations and the overall experience compared to the expectations created during the sales process. Prospective students should conduct thorough independent research, review the curriculum carefully, ask detailed questions about how support systems function in practice, and fully understand refund and contract terms before enrolling. It may also be helpful for consumers to be aware that the company has previously been subject to a Federal Trade Commission enforcement action resulting in a court-ordered injunction governing certain advertising and sales practices. That information is publicly available and may be relevant context when evaluating the program. This reflects my personal experience and perspective so others can make informed decisions.

They advertise wanting to support students, but every time I had shown up with a concern or issue, I was constantly dismissed and felt invalidated. For an adult learner, they offer the "Augsburg for Adults" or AFA program. This program recognizes the needs of a busy adult with a full time job and a family and still allows you to complete a traditional 4 year bachelor's degree, at a real accredited college. Signing up as an adult, you are allowed to transfer in a lot of the credits you may have done at a prior college. If you started but never finished, or did a 2 year at a community college, or even a little bit of trade school (or for-profit schooling) you will have some of your credits transfer. Classes are offered every other weekend, in 4 hour long sessions. So the classroom time equals out to be the exact same as a regular daytime student in a traditional program.... you are just condensing it into bigger blocks, so you don't have to show up as often. Having class only twice a month works well for me as an adult. The cost is reasonable for a private college - though much higher than a community college. A traditional 4 credit class at Augsburg in the AFA program is around $1,700. They work with your employer if you have tuition reimbursement available. Also, this isn't really well known, but there is a regional student loan program out of North Dakota called the DEAL loan. This is probably one of the best private loans available out there. Luckily Minnesota students are eligible (only3 or 4 states are eligible). Look into that and into federal stafford loans if you need some financing. The instructors have generally been top notch professors, although I have had a couple stinkers. One was a tenured professor who was absolutely full of himself, and one was a grad student who was trying to make some money as a part time instructor. Both were terrible. Otherwise though I've been very pleased with the teaching talent at Augsburg. If you're an adult learner, I find that the AFA program is a really good fit and there is a lot of support for adult learners. The staff in this program are very supportive in making you feel like you get the whole college experience yet also have your unique needs as an adult student taken care of. It's been a great experience for me. I've got less than a year left to graduation with two degrees!

I found that the people who do my cleaning where senior students who were getting closer to graduation. In my opinion, you could tell that they really cared a lot about doing a great job. If they don't do a great job, they don't get good grades or graduate. And they are closely monitored by Senior dentists with a ton of experience. And even though Senior dentist have a fantastic bedside manner, if you will. One of the senior students was Gretchen. I'm sure she'll be graduating soon and you may not be able to schedule her. However, I continually told Senior staff that she did a stellar job of keeping me calm, keeping me from a feeling any pain, and doing a superb job with the cleaning itself. I also had Dr Li do a root canal on one of my front teeth. It was a tricky problem. He tried twice from the bottom and it did not work. So, we had to go from the top (through the gums) into the tooth, doing a root canal that way. I was completely and utterly terrified that I would be in horrific pain. He and his assisting staff made me unmeasurably calm and relaxed, and I did not feel a single thing of pain the entire time. I can only tell you that I have had an absolutely fabulous experience from cleaning, to having surgery, their bedside manner, professionalism, and all things in between. Do NOTE: they do not have the nitrous oxide gas at the school. I'm not sure exactly why but you should know this.
