What mattered most to us was that they stayed in touch throughout the delays and ultimately delivered an excellent installation. The equipment they use is top-notch, from the well-drilling equipment to the plumbed-in parts. Their crew is clearly experienced: Heather, Kenny, and Scott all know what they're doing. We found one of the biggest advantages of going with MCWD is the timeline--while more established well drillers have waiting lists approaching two years(!), MCWD got us on the schedule in seven months. Woke up to find out the well had shut off and I had no water. Believe me, this is NOT a good…read morefeeling! I called Russel Well and had the good fortune of getting Chris on the phone. The first thing he asked was if I had water which I didn't. He immediately rearranged a job telling me people with no water come first. That's what I consider good (great) customer service! After testing the well pump and circuit breakers, and the underground power cable between them, he determined it was a problem with the underground electrical cable. I was worried it was the well pump (much more expensive) and was relieved to find out it wasn't. I highly recommend Chris from Russell Well. They do excellent quality work, are very reasonably priced, and did exactly what I asked of them. Five Stars

I rarely ever write any reviews and if I do they are almost always positive. I've never had such a…read moreworse customer service experience than with Russell Well Drilling. I spent $7000 on a well and they refuse to complete the job. I didn't know how shady they were until I had other well companies attempt to fix their mistakes. They may be the cheapest but that's because their equipment is inferier (they couldn't tell me the gallons/minute), their processes are subpar (never gave me a well construction record) and their customer service is atrocious. They wouldn't give me a quote for installing the pump because he said "I turned him off because I wanted to get other quotes." After speaking with several other well drillers it's because he did such a bad job he didn't want to get caught with doing such a bad job. Do NOT use this company. He will lie, cheat and steal. He may seem like a nice older gentleman but as he told me "I'm retiring next year so I couldn't care less what you think." Learn from me...stay away!

Evidently, my pressure tank for my well stopped working. I didn't know, but their life is typically…read more10-12 years. Mine was 35 years old, so, ya, it was time. I called four seasons well and pump, and he came out and gave me an estimate. The only other experience I have had with Greg (owner and proprietor) was for a well inspection for a previous house I almost bought. He was very thorough with that inspection. Well, he was supposed to show up at 9:00. He showed up at 8:55. Which as I've previously stated, is rare to have someone show up when they say they will, much less show up on time. He was very pleasant, and did the job, and gave me a warranty on the tank for 5 years (I'd imagine this is a manufacturer guarantee). He also stated "I stand by my work". I typically believe that when I see it. Well, I few days later there was a very small leak at one of the junctures. I reached out to Greg, he apologized, and I asked him to come out the following Monday at 9. He showed up at 8:50, and looked at it and told me what the issue was. Then, he fixed it. I asked him how much I owed him..... Wait for it..... He said nothing, because he stands but his work. Well, there you have it, he really does stand by his work. Interestingly, he wasn't angry he had to come back, was as pleasant as the first interaction we had, and he didn't try to change his story, like I've had so many contractors do in the past. Greg: you're top notch, and I look forward to doing business with you again. It's so nice to have an honest contractor when you know nothing about the work that needs to be done.

This is an excellent company. They came out to my family's new home to troubleshoot a…read morenon-functional well. They arrived on time and quickly diagnosed an electrical problem overlooked by Clayton Homes. The plumber/ electrician from Clayton homes advised that the well pump needed to.be replaced. This company saved our family thousands of dollars and only charged $170 for the service call. I will definitely call them before dping any well or pump repairs.
