    Unprofessional. I've had my small business for 16 years in Newport. Have had various phone…read morecompanies and the local cable company handle my internet and phone. Was NOT prepared for how niched Wave is. Didn't tell me I needed to buy equipment or what to buy once I found out. Had to hire a electrician with special skill: as in not easy to find. I don't have an IT department, so when I was told to have my IT person finish the job, was flabbergasted. Was very excited about getting fiber optics, but the thrill is not holding up. Installation looks very unfinished. Loose wires sticking out and no cover. Kind of sums them up. And then there is the phone. Had to buy it from them, and it was corded, as in stay in one place while talking on the phone. I can't do that. I had to refuse the phone and go to another VOIP company for my phone service.

    They just can't get it right. Had trouble with the phone service for 6-9 months before they got it…read moreright. I will give them the final credit due. Thank you for the troubleshooting that finally got our phone lines fixed. We REALLY needed it fixed. It was NEVER A problem on our end. Never got a cent in reimbursement for the hassle even though Keith said he would handle it. Now they have been fighting with the internet for over a year now. They can never seem to find anything wrong with it but it keeps crashing intermittently. They claim to monitor it somehow which I'm sure they do but it never says its out when it is. I made an analogy about how "not every customers check engine light is on when the car is dropped off" but they looked at me stupid. $260 router doesn't work anymore after they got on the ladder & claimed to have found a crossed wire. Worked until the moment they touched & never once after that. Makes me wonder if the wire was even wrong or maybe the height, stress, & low lighting caused human error. Sure seems like what they do & say don't add up but I'm just a professional investigator thats all. I got pissed and ran a hardline after they removed the high end router & installed a $79.99 router that didn't work on the other end of the parking lot. Apparently it works out on the street which is unfounded. Tech came back with a switch another day but needed 2 of them not one apparently. Ended up using my $260 router as a switch, which i guess beats a paper weight. What really makes me upset is this team is trying to convince me its on our end which is not fact but speculation or hopefulness. We have changed every single piece of the network at this point. EVERY SINGLE PIECE & we are still having problems. How do you blame it on the users gear when you can't point to it & say its bad & heres why? At this point they have officially let me down & I'm sure it doesn't take a review for them to know that. Small town! we will all see each others faces! This is not a faceless review. I tried face blank communication & am tired of being told I'm getting some kind of favor. Not a big fan of dirty looks either! I have been done NO favors here.
