At 11:15am, a nurse summoned me like I'd just won the lottery, except the prize was a paper gown and a 48°F exam room with a single chair designed by the Marquis de Sade. The doctor breezed in like a disgruntled ghost, stared at my X-rays for 3.5 seconds, mumbled something about "getting older," and prescribed physical therapy as if it were a cure-all--like Windex in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I asked if I'd need surgery. He shrugged. I sneezed. He said, "That could be related." What?! Honestly, I've had better diagnostics from WebMD while drunk. On the plus side, the receptionist had stickers. I took three and left limping, emotionally fragile, and now suspicious that my spine is plotting against me. Would I recommend Atlantic Orthopedic? Only if you're seeking medical gaslighting and an ego check. Otherwise, try a YouTube yoga video and save yourself the co-pay.

My experience is strictly about the person handling appointment scheduling and I feel it's important to give feedback on this matter because this is the first person people talk to when interacting with this practice. To start, their website clearly states that they open at 8 AM, but the phones were not live until 8:25. A minor issue but worth mentioning if you're calling first thing in the morning. When I called to make an appointment, the scheduler sounded openly inconvenienced by the fact that I was calling at all. There was a lot of huffing and sighing on her end, which immediately made the interaction uncomfortable. When I gave her my new address, she snapped at me for "not giving her enough time to type," even though I offered the information at a normal pace. I apologized and said I didn't mean to offend her, and she snapped again...this time for saying she wasn't offended in the first place. The whole exchange felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. It left me feeling frustrated and honestly hesitant to continue with the practice. Overall, it was an awful customer service experience, and I hope it's not representative of the rest of the office.

Right across the street from Mt Trashmore, the building had a lovely curb appeal to it and refreshing to see the newness of it all. Upon entering, I didn't have to deal with the stairs or anything like that which was good when you have back pain. It was very clean inside, quiet, and calming which made my nerves ease quite a bit right away. The receptionist were prompt and very easy to work with especially since I had my info put in prior to the appointment. That alone was a great experience as I apparently didn't fill out the pre-registered form correctly the week before however, I received a call and the receptionist walked me through it all filling it out for me which was lovely! It was less than ten minutes upon arrival until I went back with the assistants to which went over my info and made sure it was all matching in case I missed anything. After she left, minutes later Dr. Gauthier enter with his assistant to go over the info one last time. He was very welcoming and took his time making sure all the info was correct and if I had forgotten something and wanted to double check everything. I did remember I had a nerve test to which he then sent the assistant out to get information from that facility. In this time, he performed his testing/evaluation of my issues and then talked about exactly what was going on in his findings and how the procedure was going to work. He assured me that this process would be a bit different and most likely much better than the "caudal injection" to which was excruciating for me in the past. I had such a calm and comforting feeling with the process and really appreciated it. He told me what to take off and would return to take me back for the quick procedure. The assistant came back and escorted me to the room and again, very clean, modern and comforting. The assistant had small talk with me waiting on the Dr to which he quickly returned and picked up right with the assistant. We were laughing and carrying on all while taking pauses and being professional at the same time dialing in the machines. The procedure lasted about 10-15 minutes tops and for me personally, was so much better than any of the other shots or testings I had done. It was closer to a level 3 in pain vs others that reached 9.5! I told him I would happily do another one if it came down to that as that experience overall was very pleasant. I mean its not all comfortable but that is what I did appreciate about them both making it as light and relaxing as possible while filling you in the entire time of what was about to happen, happening and what to do after. I definitely recommend this place if an Epidural Injection is ordered by your Doctor and really appreciate Dr. Gauthier and crew for a lovely experience!

But my back started acting up on me. I had to really watch myself or it would feel like a sharp pain just before it would go out on me. Also, my wife had been suffering with Migraines, lower back pain, and leg pain. Someone recommended Dr. Ranzette to her and she went through his program and it made an astounding difference for her. It made such a positive difference that I decided to give him a try. I have to say that, even though I am a little more than midway through therapy, my back is doing great. I had lower back pain regularly before and now I rarely feel any pain or discomfort. My neck is still a work in progress, but I have definitely experienced an improvement in mobility on that front. I recommend Progressive Chiropractic. The staff is amazing. Very caring and kind. And Dr. Ranzette is very knowledgeable and passionate about providing great care.
