For the first time on Tuesday I went to Daisy Laundromat and will never go again. I tried two…read moredifferent machines and in both cases the machine took my money to a certain point then just ate my coins. In using the coin release button some money was returned but not all of it. As a result I lost $5.00. I tried calling their number to talk to someone and was greeted with "the voice mail box is full". The owner of this establishment should ensure that customers do not get ripped off and keep their equipment working properly. Sadly, I will never return.

To use the Speed Queen on its heavy cycle (it seems that prices vary according to cycle choice), it's $8.75, which I find quite pricy. I assume it will take 25 minutes to dry my comforter in the single dryer, which will be $1.25. ($0.50 to start, $0.25 for extra five minutes). So it means it will cost me about $10 to wash my medium weight comforter. Not cheap, but buying a new queen size comforter will be at least $40. The facility seems to be well kept and very busy. All in all, I'm glad there is a laundromat when I need it.

If you don't believe me when you walk in look UP half the lights are out and there filled with dead bugs. The return for the HVAC is 50 percent on the reverse side has collapsed and the other side is caked with lint. There are 2 clocks on the walls and both need a battery charge ( both not working). Emergency lighting with battery backup do not work.That is a safety issue, and while we're at when was the last time they had a fire inspection on the system? Media Real Estate has a laundromat that is extremely usable and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is a clean, modern facility that charges reasonable prices and is welcoming to one and all. There are times that life gets a little complicated yet everyone still needs clean clothes and this is an excellent place to come to. Media is a wonderful community and this is one of the reasons that makes it so. Sitting around the laundromat you never know who you're going to meet, but you can always have wonderful conversations. Come by and enjoy. Easily accessible from SEPTA's bus routes 110 and 118 and the wonderful media 101 trolley. For those who like wonderful experiences and have never been on the trolley or visited Media, come on down, do your laundry and spend a day. You will have no regrets.
