After some of my own research, I then called my previous doctor from Denver and asked him what he thought. He called back the next day and told me he got nothing by raves about her. I called Dr Pearson and the rest is history! I would not go to anyone else ever! She is the most caring, thorough, friendly person. Not only does she listen to ME, but she goes a step further to make sure she understands what I am trying to tell her. Dr Pearson never rushes, but takes her time to be completely sure that "I" understand what she is saying to me. Definitely a collaborative atmosphere! I made appointment through my network's app. A few days later, I received a call stating the practitioner does not perform the service. I thought ok, my bad. I asked the front office does she do annual physical exams? She does. Ok, I scheduled an appointment. Only to be met with a follow-up call stating the practitioner only seeks physical exams in the morning. No reference on the app or site could I find the practitioner's policy of morning only physical exams. Hey I get it, this particular practitioner can run her practice as she sees fit. I inquired about the next availability and I was informed it would be six weeks out since I was a new patient to the practices. There are many others around who are available. I found a practitioner who had no hoops to jump through. If you are seeking to become a new patient one would be wise to call in advance with the services you seek. Make clear to the person who answers the phone that you are interested in becoming a new patient. She may be a great practitioner based on some of the reviews I read. However, the stipulations to become a patient were met only with frustration. Again, remember there are many others around who are available.

I sat in their waiting room for 19 minutes & no one came from the back or in the front door. At 10 AM a woman came and stood in front of the receptionist for 5 minutes without being acknowledged at all. The woman asked to be seen early for her 10:30AM appointment. They told her sure. In that 30 minutes they could have seen me. If I could give o zero star I would.

I needed a new primary physician after my pediatrician kicked me out of her practice once I…read moregraduated college (I know, but she was SO good it was worth sitting in the waiting room filled with wailing kids and chairs for midgets), so I started digging online and Dr. Lisa Lefkovitz's name came up. Bingo! Female physician? Check. Internal medicine? Check. Taking new patients? Check-eroo. So I called, made an initial appointment and was in yesterday for my first "grown up" physical. And it was one of my most painless doctor's visits ever. When I walked in, instead of the usual clipboard to fill out the entire history of my existence (including citations and footnotes), a receptionist handed me a table PC with a stylus and I verified the majority of my info which was already in their system. Next, I was called back in a timely manner (ie not 30 minutes after sitting in the lobby twiddling my thumbs - though I was armed with a Kindle loaded with "Game of Thrones" - I've been to doctor's appointments a time or two), and a nurse did all the preliminary tests: weight, blood pressure, EKG, blood sample, etc and took my history down on her computer. A short, short time after that (and I mean this in doctor's time, not the rest of the world), Dr. Lefkovtiz entered (she's a darling - so sweet and easy to talk to - I liked her immediately), we went over me, my family history and how I'm doing everything right (at this rate, I'll live to be approximately 362.4 years old, by my own calculations). She showed me a couple photos of her daughter, told me to come back or call if I ever needed anything and we were done. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. That's a new land speed record I figure. And then I was back off to work (yay...). The only bad thing is that because it was a physical, I had to fast from midnight until my blood was drawn the next morning, which didn't happen until almost 11 AM. I suffered somewhat of a food deprivation headache, and was kind of "off" the rest of the afternoon, but if I only have to do that once a year, I can deal.
