Dr. Burns is patient and takes the time to talk through any concerns every time. I feel like I am in good hands each time I visit. It is easy to get an appointment, and they have always been on time or close to on time. I have recommended this practice to a number of friends. If you are looking for a dermatologist - this practice is fantastic. There are two sides of the office - one for skin care and the other for cosmetic. I have also had some laser removals of sun spots on the cosmetic side. It was quick and easy and worked well. I also buy my facial sunscreen and an antioxidant face scrub here. Great products!

The longest I've waited for an appointment here is 20 minutes I've been going to Perimeter Dermatology since 2013 and the staff is nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They cover both standard dermatology procedures, and have cosmetic services as well. You do have to pay for parking (there is a parking deck), but sadly this seems to be the norm at many doctor's offices in the Atlanta metro area. Taking off a star for parking, and standard wait times, but I'd highly recommend Perimeter Dermatology, especially Taylor Stone, one of the PA's.

I was referred to his office by my primary GP due to a food related allergic reaction and had to take a few allergy tests (skin prick test, intradermal injections, and an ImmunoCAP IgE blood test). While the tests were slightly uncomfortable--one of which was 52 skin pricks, ouch! Dr. Rabinowitz and his team of nurses were detailed in explaining the procedures being done. Post appointment, he always provides exemplary follow-up if any additional issues arises. He's a doctor that has a true dedication to his craft--all the while showing empathy and humanity towards his patients. Definitely recommend to come here if you're having allergy related issues!

Let me first say that I have been to multiple doctors' offices in Atlanta prior to this appointment. I have out of state insurance. It has never been a problem for any office before. I receive a call from the office from Rebecca several days prior to my appointment. They asked me to call my insurance because they couldn't figure out the number to my insurance (it's on the back of the card I sent them). They then proceeded to give me codes and a number to call. She also asked that I bring in their phone number (BCBS) because she is "confused" and can't figure it out for other patients. NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY? Strange but okay. I called and my insurance said they could have called the number they gave me and that I shouldn't have had to call. Okay. I come in to my appointment. Rebecca greets me and is annoyed that I did not fill out the paperwork prior to my visit. Alright. She then informs me that because I did not call her BACK with my insurance findings I would be responsible for the entire cost of my visit. I told her I reached out to my insurance as she requested and she said, "I'm very busy here answering the phone and greeting patients so I probably won't be able to call your insurance today. So you'll have to pay the full amount." I informed her that I have seen several other specialists and physicians here and they had no problem contacting my insurance. I then asked her to politely call. She said she couldn't make any promises. I'm sorry -- that's your JOB. The way which she treated me thereafter is something I have NEVER experienced at a doctor's office! She then called my insurance and said I would be responsible for a part of the visit although I later confirmed with my insurance that was NOT the case. I don't even think she called my insurance. I later told the doctor about this situation and he apologized and then began to tell me some personal details about the receptionist's life and said she's going through some personal family stuff. I felt so uncomfortable this entire time I don't even know what was happening here. After my appointment I was informed that my insurance does in fact cover the visit. However, I received a bill for the full amount a week after the visit. I had to call them AGAIN and straighten everything out. This entire debacle completely marred my opinion of this practice. Helpful and friendly front desk staff is essential to any service or physician's office and I was frankly shocked to receive such poor service and lack of politeness. I would highly recommend you going to one of the other allergist offices in Atlanta to avoid being interrogated and embarrassed because a front desk person has the inability to google an insurance number. TL;DR: IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF STATE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I had to let this person know to stop calling and texting me cause it was borderline harassment. He just fell entitled to keep trying to get in touch with me as if he was some sort of friend or family member, not to even mention I was working when I got his first call. This really makes me upset and concerned, I understand having a business is stressful and he might feel my review was "unfair" but as a paid customer I have the right to express my opinions and concerns without being harassed. He kept trying to convince me to change my review and he complained that I left the same exact one on 2 different sites. Sorry but this behavior is completely unprofessional, no one should be afraid of leaving a review for a poor service. Just to address some of the "responses" you left: the facial I got from your esthetician didn't last an hour, in fact it took around 40 minutes which about a third of the time was spent on steam and a mask and that was my biggest complain, the fact that your employees fell entitled to charge 30 extra dollars for "the extra time spent"; if they told you, the owner, it was an hour they lied to you then. In fact, they did mention there was going to be a $30 charge in case they needed more time but honestly that's a rip off knowing that it wasn't going to be an hour working on my face. I have great skin modesty aside, I do take care of it very well and I also told them from the beginning I wanted to get check an ingrown hair in my chin and she didn't really do that. I told you over the phone that your strategy of trying to get customers onboard advertising your so called "30 min" facial is a really bad one, it's calling for trouble, cause your staff is always going to use the excuse "the client needed more work" so we spent more time and for that we will charge them more. Be upfront with your clients and charge more from the beginning. And if tipping is not an obligation then get rid of the sign with your esthetician Venmo accounts for us to tip them, the one located at the front counter, if you don't know what I'm talking about. This office is a little bigger than the Dunwoody location but just as nice. I don't come here too often since the other location is closer to my home. The staff here is pretty friendly..
