We could have stayed there for hours. The cafe is just that, a standard snack serving cafe, nothing outstanding but the service was exceptional. But the greatest benefit is the massive selection of women's and men's clothes, from the ordinary to top quality. Something for everyone. It might have been an 80mile round journey, but worth it and we will go again before Christmas to get a few more bargains.

It's so big when you enter that you can't even see the far walls beyond the vast sea of clothing stands in front of you, all arranged in a grid that forces you to move pac-man style through the aisles whilst dodging slow-moving pensioners on all sides. I think it's my uber-cool little sister's idea of hell. Not exactly my idea of a good time, and I'm not about to suggest it should be yours! But they do have a huge range of middle-aged-to-elderly mens and womenswear, much of it from branded labels at outlet prices (think Austin Reed, Moss Bros, Jaeger, Hobbs etc), plus things like bed linen, books, perfumes and stationery. Whilst I may have turned 30, I haven't grannyfied my wardrobe just yet - I'm actually suggesting you earn some good grandkid brownie points by bringing your nan here to browse and bargain-hunt. Yes it'll be two hours of your life you won't get back but it's well organised, saves them the stresses of the big malls, and the pensioners love it (there's always plenty of them enjoying the cafe at the back!). As well as doing something nice out of the goodness of your heart, you might just strike it lucky as I did and find one of the handful of things in the store that someone under 40 might actually wear (and my little sis approved of!). In my case, a gorge Adrianna Papell work dress reduced from its £139 RRP to a £30 outlet bargain, that I'm proudly wearing to the office to combat the back-to-work blues today. Boom :)

Alongside the standard clothing offering, there is a Lipsy area and small Costa Coffee inside the store, although the overall facilities do lack compared to other stores, for example in Manchester, there is a Home section as well as Paperchase, Costa and a barber, the facilities overall are pretty good. I couldn't find a staff member anywhere on the shop floor which was pretty frustrating, the only time I encountered someone that worked here was at the checkouts! 4* - A relatively good store, it is laid out well, with some nice items for sale making it a good addition to the Bullring.

The staff here are attentive and pleasant, the clothes are kept reasonably tidy and organise giving that it's in the bull ring. I'm able to find most of the clothes here that they have on there website. And yes you should be able to do that, but the stores in Telford don't feel we need suits in the ladies section.

The staff are friendly and helpful which is always good, and the store is always clean and tidy and well organised, which makes it much easier to find what you are looking for. Also, the service can be poor when busy and the prices can be quite expensive compared to other places such as on the internet, so dont expect it to be the cheapest place to go to, because it isnt. We went there to spend wedding vouchers and were pleased to find it had a big range of products ranging from electrical goods to clothes and jewellery. It wasn't too crowded and the staff were really helpful in sorting out transferring our individual wedding giftcards on to one card. We will definitely go back to this Debenhams as it was so easy to be able to shop and then nip back to the car to drop the goods off before continuing shopping elsewhere.

Pros: fresh food market hall downstairs, proper cafe upstairs, click and collect, M&S quality products, mens, womens, and children's clothing, and M&S has started their own rewards Sparks card. Located in the mall, so there's a parking garage from the elevators. Cons: quite small, very small feeling in fact, old flooring and lighting, needs a new coat of paint, cafe looks really outdated, poorly laid out, and their clothing selection mostly caters here for the elderly. And the toilets are super old and half of the time are never functioning. I heard that most of Coventry City Center will be knocked down and rebuilt, and I think if this place wants to stand a chance against the new high class shops arriving within the next few years, then corporate better offer a full face lift, expansion, and start catering towards the University Students. All in all, I still shop here weekly and will continue to do so, but I see so much more potential at this M&S!

If for any reason I can't find what I'm looking for instore the staff are always extremely helpful & quick to assist in placing orders, which have always arrived promptly without any trouble. The foodhall, again though small, is absolutely excellent & carries a wonderful selection of produce which is always fresh & of the best quality. Special mention should also go the the M&S café staff. Since visiting with a small child, previously in a pushchair, they have always been exceptionally helpful & have gone out of their way to assist me in anyway possible.

The choice of decorating equipment is a bit limited compared to others but they can order you anything in if you need it. They also have plants and shrubs outside for sale too. This store can get busy around lunchtime but they will normally open up some tills if it is too bad.

Debenhams are still a large store with 178 stores in The UK, Ireland and Denmark and were founded back in 1778. This branch of Debenhams is located in the Bullring mall, with enterences from both street and mall level, it is a decent sized store too. The lifts here were pretty slow, and they didn't show much signal of it working, and although it was, I didn't know it was in use, so I nearly just walked away, which was disappointing It is quite a large store with a Brow Bar, Salon and Cafe and quite a few floors as well. I didn't have any close encounters with staff to comment on, they seemed okay, just average. The signposts for what is on which floor in the store could be better advertised, this store is okay but it is nothing more than that, the building its-self isn't as nice as other department stores mentioned, and in a way it has a less high-end feel, which makes it a little less special in a way, especially to tourists and potential shoppers.

Last month I came in as I had a 5% off voucher on multiple purchases so I bought underwear on one floor, then on another day some clothes for a wedding. When I got home I inspected the receipt and worked out though it said 5% off, nothing was actually deducted! I took one dress back as I didn't wear it for a wedding and mentioned there was nothing deducted! She said it's not on all concessions ... Something the other two cashiers didn't say when scanning the clothes! I've given them four stars as I do go to the beauty department to buy skin and hair care. I do ask for samples and majority will give them .., more so with a purchase! I like to walk away with something extra!! Lol They have a beauty points card which is useful and worth collecting points. You get money off when you earn enough.
