Great care & attention to the kids! Lots of patience for first time moms. Would highly recommend. So sad we moved away from them!

Now as it transitions from Mass Motion Dance North to Bosoma School of Dance, and is changing locations to Hamilton, which is not so close, I am more than happy to bring my daughter to the new location. I would follow Katherine almost anywhere. She creates a warm and nurturing atmosphere for the dancers, and the technique and choreography is unlike any we have seen at any other studio. If you have the opportunity, bring your kids in for a trial lesson, you won't be disappointed.

Owner and Director, Katherine Hooper, brings her twenty years of teaching experience to Hamilton and Manchester-by-the-Sea, offering a space for students to learn the art and technique of dance, to nurture their passion for dance, and to learn how to think in a creative way. Our dedicated faculty is made up of BoSoma Dance Company dancers and professionals that have achieved or are working towards a degree in dance. BSD's programs are designed to accommodate all ages and abilities. All students, whether in the recreational or intensive program, will be closely monitored throughout the year to make sure that they are in the appropriate level and program. Our annual program focuses on learning core technique and terminology, challenging the mind/body connection through movement, as well as improvisation and choreography.

My wife and I sat down and put together a bucket list…read more One of her items which she considered to be a simple one was for us to go horseback riding. She had been horseback riding as a kid and really wanted to relive that experience with me. I on the other hand had never been on a horse before. I didn't want to tell her that I was feeling nervous or that I had some concerns about getting on a horse. But I did tell the lady who owns the farm privately and she helped me get comfortable. She helped select the horses from my wife and I, and although my wife had experienced as a child, the owner stated our older bodies are much different now and she picked a nice gentle horse for my wife and I. She took extra time to show me how to properly sit on the horse, keep my feet in the stirrups and hold onto the reins. In talking with friends they explained at most farms you normally get led by a human being around the circle a couple of times and that's horseback riding. At Spring Tide Farm they took us out and we rode the horses! The owner was a patient woman who was so kind to her animals as well as us humans. She explained she's been doing this for 50 years and the horses are like her children. She explained that her love for horses, not only extends to her horses, but those that she boards. The time seem to fly by, my wife and I had a great experience together. Time for the next thing on our list.

It was like the daily newsletter from them was coming from a completely different camp.

Meeting place had kids sitting on a dirty looking rug. -Leader-My 13 year old son said she sounded like some of his stern, firm, teachers from school. We all immediately felt sorry for our 8 year old. Not a welcoming first impression. -Lunch- Children had to sit on the parking lot asphalt to eat lunch even though 3 large tables were in the Church. The workers used the tables. -Unqualified looking assistants-There were 3 women and several middle school/high school aged assistants. Seriously doubt they had much training in STEM subjects. -Materials-Parents and child were encouraged to gather recyclables from home for use at Camp. The $240 fee should cover materials. -Last minute schedule change again. Extended until Friday. Not considerate of parents schedule. Overall, not professional and more like a daycare program. Did not meet our expectations at all. We pulled our son out after day one. Lesson learned. I will spread the word. Avoid it! Research your area Camps. It might be different than what we experienced.

His teachers were wonderful, always attentive, positive and kind, and we're so grateful for his time with Ms Doris, Ms Tia and Ms Miralba. He learned so much in his time here and always enjoyed attending. We needed to make a switch due to some life circumstances, but it was difficult to make that choice because our time here was positive. Nicole is a great communicator, always very responsive and helpful. When our son's transitioned to the next class up, preschool age, he struggled a bit with the change and Nicole helped facilitate a meeting to help ease our minds. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to choose a daycare as a working parent, so hoping this reviews eases the feelings of uncertainty while navigating your childcare search. We recommend MKU to others and think it's been a safe environment where our son has thrived. We've also met many great families along the way, there is a great community there. Thank you to everyone at MKU!

If so, go ahead. The director, Nicole Camarda, I don't even wanna talk about her. She's so mean, fake, and shows no care to the staff. Shaking her little butt and telling people what to do, but at least she does some work, unlike the reception fat girl who just sits there all day, does nothing but snacking (I guess that's why you are fat though), as if the world owns her money. They are always short-staffed, so it doesn't matter if you have a college degree or higher degree- you will get hired no matter what and get the LOWEST PAY as someone who never even finished high school. They won't read your resume because they will literally hire anyone who applied for. Also, the teachers- OMG, ridiculous, rude, unkind, mean. STAY AWAY FROM these classrooms led by (I know both their first and last names, but only first names this time) Angelina, Daniela, Miriam (Infant room), Valentina (Casa room). This is a very ridiculous place to work- I'm telling you. The turnover rate is EXTREMELY high. JUST RUN & STAY AWAY.
