Special thanks to the children who joined us in the first show to play tambourines, maracas, and drumsticks. In the second show for older children, others volunteered to demonstrate their new ventriloquial skills after choosing a puppet of their choice from the big drum case. Volunteers were encouraged to say their first name into the microphone and try moving the puppet's mouth three times as they said "One, Two, Three" with their new puppet voice. Special thanks to Mr. Jarod, the teacher who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY! He wore our ventriloquist face mask, played the "ringy, dingy, thingy" and "sang" our "No Bully Zone" original song with Chelsea The Chimpanzee. (No, they did not sing at the same time... we're not that good!)

They do "homework" in daycare to ensure they are advancing academically for their age. If there is a concern, such as speech, Lisa will have a discussion to allow you to take the next step. The weekly rate of the daycare is very affordable and includes snack and lunch. Our daughter loves going to this daycare and has made many friends and is right where she should be developmentally. I would highly recommend this facility.

I really cannot say enough about Amys Cozy Corner! My…read moredaughter has been going here for about 1 1/2 years. She started off in the infant room with Maria, who was so amazing with her.. My daughter cried almost every time I picked her up to leave! She then transitioned to the toddler room but still tried to sneak down the hall at drop off to Maria's room for the longest time! Now, she is just over 2 years old and can recite her ABCs, count to 20, almost spell her 8 letter name, loves to "read" and "write" and recite any nursery rhyme you can think of! However the main reason I felt compelled to write this review was when she started to count backwards from 10! Perfectly every time! I scrambled to look up this stage of learning online and found out it was common for four year olds! Of course my daughter is the smartest one of all! But truly this is 100% because of the learning received at Amys Cozy Corner. She loves going to school each day and I have 100% confidence leaving her here. Almost always, Amy is in the toddler room singing to a captivated audience of toddlers. The staff are amazing, consistent, fair and really care about teaching these kids, not just babysitting. I have stacks of amazing art work that comes home every day and I love the fun activities they plan for the kids; most recent was Pancake Tuesday where Mari dressed like a chef and cooked pancakes for the kids! The outdoor play space is great, safe and big enough for the kids. They are great at accommodating my crazy schedule when I'm running late. They are flexible when I need an extra day of care but always check to make sure they have enough staff to cover. If you're considering Daycare in Marblehead, look no further!

They are so accommodating to our changing whims and so helpful to us as new parents. The owner is great and loves what she does and the teachers are amazing with the kids and babies.

His teachers were wonderful, always attentive, positive and kind, and we're so grateful for his time with Ms Doris, Ms Tia and Ms Miralba. He learned so much in his time here and always enjoyed attending. We needed to make a switch due to some life circumstances, but it was difficult to make that choice because our time here was positive. Nicole is a great communicator, always very responsive and helpful. When our son's transitioned to the next class up, preschool age, he struggled a bit with the change and Nicole helped facilitate a meeting to help ease our minds. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to choose a daycare as a working parent, so hoping this reviews eases the feelings of uncertainty while navigating your childcare search. We recommend MKU to others and think it's been a safe environment where our son has thrived. We've also met many great families along the way, there is a great community there. Thank you to everyone at MKU!

If so, go ahead. The director, Nicole Camarda, I don't even wanna talk about her. She's so mean, fake, and shows no care to the staff. Shaking her little butt and telling people what to do, but at least she does some work, unlike the reception fat girl who just sits there all day, does nothing but snacking (I guess that's why you are fat though), as if the world owns her money. They are always short-staffed, so it doesn't matter if you have a college degree or higher degree- you will get hired no matter what and get the LOWEST PAY as someone who never even finished high school. They won't read your resume because they will literally hire anyone who applied for. Also, the teachers- OMG, ridiculous, rude, unkind, mean. STAY AWAY FROM these classrooms led by (I know both their first and last names, but only first names this time) Angelina, Daniela, Miriam (Infant room), Valentina (Casa room). This is a very ridiculous place to work- I'm telling you. The turnover rate is EXTREMELY high. JUST RUN & STAY AWAY.
