Hiring a contractor for a bathroom remodel project is something my wife and I were really hesitant about, but needed to pull the trigger to update our 90's builder grade bathroom. I got a quote from a couple companies, but it just didn't feel right. Then, I reached out Travis and Daniel with Next Generation. Their professionalism from the start was miles ahead of the other two companies I called. They were on time, very friendly to my family, and it was obvious that they were very knowledgeable. This wasn't a simple remodel. Before, we had a tiny shower on the left, and a huge tub on the right which we never used. Travis explained that we could use both existing drains and create one huge master shower. Their pricing wasn't the cheapest, but also not the most expensive between the other quotes I received. The kicker is we got so much more with their proposal and design. It was a no brainer. Before the work started we got a detailed calendar of each process from demo, to final clean. I can't stress enough how detailed they were, and kept us in the loop the entire time. If the guys left for the day before we got home, we were always updated with pictures and even sometimes videos of what was accomplished! Everything was done by their in-house team, so I didn't have to worry about having random subcontractors at my house. This level of customer service is really a breath of fresh air. The end result speaks for itself. Not trying to brag on my new bathroom (I kinda am ). Look how the sides are mirror images of each other! I saw the guys take time to make sure the movement in the tile pattern all lined up! Needless to say, these guys are all professionals from Travis and Daniel the owners, to everyone else on their staff. Do yourself a favor. Stop rolling the dice on other random companies and call Next Generation. PS. I already have them on our calendar to return early January to paint the exterior of our house, and refinish our kitchen cabinets. read more

We liked their professional approach and asked them to paint the entire condo. They worked well with our interior designers and actually helped them with some of the improvements. The Next Gen people were all so professional and did the job so quickly. I thought Travis was stopping by to check out the work needing to be done but actually the work started that day and that was fine with me. They fixed the upstairs bath walls, installed a new toilet in both bathrooms, installed fixtures and a new vanity. Everything looks so good. The biggest change was the kitchen where I'd been trying to figure out what to do with the weird laundry/pantry area. Travis came up with a plan to reconfigure it and now it's a usable space with a new floor and barn doors, so pretty! I highly recommend them! read more

Daniel and Travis are two of the nicest guys with incredible work ethics. I'm so glad we found them for my project. My property went through a rather unexpected semi remodel recently. A complete gutting of two bathrooms and a bedroom as well as some outside patio vents and a sliding door were all done. Suffice it to say, moisture is not a friend of a home. Dealing with the moisture that caused so many issues with the townhome, Travis and Daniel were quite knowledgeable. And, they were all the right levels of supportive and reliable, walking me through everything and assuring me along the way during a rather stressful situation. They were communicative, thorough, as timely as possible, and there were never any hidden or extra fees. I never felt upsold. They let me know I could reach out to them any time and they'd respond, no question being too small. This was definitely put to the test at times and they backed up what they said for sure. The amount of work they completed in the time they did it all, it was just amazing. And, it was great work. They always stayed positive with me and even with the tenants when there were interactions with them too, which was so welcoming during a rather stressful situation for them and also myself. The end result is a major upgrade and will easily increase our homes value.They did a very professional Job. I asked Travis for a quote over the phone and he met me at the house the next day. The quote was fair and he started the following week. Their crews worked fast removing all the rotten wood and replacing it, along with the proper sealants and guards. After the paint was on the house looks brand new! They cleaned up after themselves every day and were friendly and conscientious. These guys were great. I had a ridiculously heavy motorized couch on a steel frame that I needed gone ASAP. Need, date, and time was confirmed through yelp's messages. The next day I received a phone call confirming all of the information again, and letting me know that they actually had availability a few days earlier than they originally said, which was PERFECT. They showed up on time, and were very good natured and polite, even though my couch was still heavier than expected and my apartment stairs suck. Pricing was extremely reasonable, especially given all of the obstacles they had to overcome ( oddly shaped stairwell, zig zag sidewalk, 2nd floor apartment, and did I mention the couch was HEAVY AF?!). They were even really kind to my non-verbal special needs son. I really appreciated that, since he seems to get a ton of stares. I had a roof leak in my office in Vista and Next Generation was able to come in and put up containment unit immediately use their water meter to find the source of the water leak and begin the job of Fixing the problem we even had a significant amount of mold in the secondary roof which they repaired and Next Generation was able to get a mold inspection at the completion of the job so we all felt confident of working in a mold free environment. They were excellent and on time, worked hard and worked with us on the payment structure Since it was not covered by our insurance I would highly recommend them you can't even tell there was ever any water issues in the office. Travis came out to do a free inspection. He was on time and very personable. He had just the right equipment to detect the moisture issues in my walls and was able to explain what he found in great detail. I had another company come out as well, and they only did a visual inspection, naturally missing the issues that Travis found. Travis then came out a second time to explain what he found to my landlord, who was not present at the first inspection. The only reason I didn't hire him is because it wasn't my call. It was up to my landlord, who doesn't want to pay someone to do the repair work. However, based on my experience with the multiple inspections, I very highly recommend Next Generation over the other companies, and I would definitely have hired them if I could. read more
