In April, it was determined that my shower needed to be gutted and re-waterproofed. Given the usual size of home renovations, I felt like mine was a "small job," so I reached out to as many remodeling companies as I could--and as expected, got told "no" by most. But NextGen Home Builders said "yes" to everything I requested, even when things got difficult with my insurance claim (as insurance goes). Once assigned to my project, Danielle helped me navigate through the remodeling on a tight budget without compromising quality or design. And during some of the most frustrating moments of my battle with the claim adjuster, Danielle was the pillar of strength for me. Oh, the life I would live if only I could have the same level of patience and understanding that Danielle has. That all said, what I really want to highlight in this review is the tight-knit relationship that Danielle seemed to have with her teams that came in to do their parts. When Danielle went over the scope of work of my project, I was inevitably anxious because it felt much bigger than a "small job" (in my head, at least). So, it meant a lot to me when each specialized team, like the demo/plumbing/hotmopping/tiling, that Danielle brought into my home, went above and beyond to deliver their services. Every single person who worked on my shower was professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. This is why you need a rock-solid project manager who is good at what they do, and Danielle is exactly that. I recommend NextGen Home Builders because Danielle's work ethic is proof that this is a business that runs on good faith. Anyway, I usually know how to write my reviews without rambling. Throughout this year I met a number of contractors to build an ADU in the near future. He came recommended by a friend for his attention to detail, which is very important to me. I did see some of his work (ADU) and I can say his work is beautiful and clean, with the attention to detail that I would expect from a professional contractor. March 2024 my house was flooded due to a blocked pipe and I had severe water damage. My homeowner insurance Allstate had PuroClean do the mitigation ( a horrible experience but that will be a different review) My house was almost half demolished. When we were exploring our four contractor options a year ago, we knew we could trust Amir after the 1st meeting. We weren't sure then what kind of quality we were going to get. Full disclosure: this review is based on initial appointment only. Setting up an appointment with Talia was very easy. Needed kitchen hood/duct work replacement which apparently very small project amongst most companies that i contacted. Amir came by and he listened to me thoroughly and were able to give me very useful advices and realistic outcome which I really appreciated. There are some more design finesse on my end to proceed. In July of 2025, I had occasion to need a small stair railing installed for the 3 steps up to the door on the duplex apartment where my wife and I had been living for a few years. We had both slipped and fallen on these stairs 1-2 each and been injured, so it was just too dangerous for us, both seniors with disability/handicapped issues, to continue with no railing. I called NextGen Home Builders and was introduced to Danielle, our sales rep and project coordinator. She came out within a few days to discuss the project and noted that they did not generally do such small jobs, but that she wanted to help us. I was impressed with her professionalism and good explanations as to the quality that NextGen brought to even the smallest projects. After some discussion, we struck a deal and moved on to the next phase which involved her and a couple of engineers to come back to my home and do some preliminary measurements and design discussions. After reaching an agreement to move forward, several weeks later an installation crew came to the property and did the final installation of the powder-coated railing, which was built exactly to the approved design. It was beautifully finished in satin black powder-coat as agreed and when done, the railing was very solid where it was bolted onto the concrete of our front porch. It remains stable and very tight months down the road now, and it helps my wife and I to be safe when using the stairs every day. The railing project was not inexpensive, but we feel we more than got what we paid for. I would recommend NextGen Home Builders to anyone needing a railing project on their property, whether the job is large or small. This has been a great help to me and my wife and we cannot thank Danielle and NextGen Home Builders enough for their excellent performance from design to installation. Amir has a great work ethic, good communication skills, very professional, straight forward and conscientious. He was always available to us and his crew with constant communication.
