There was a gentleman who served us. The store sells masala chai packaged in small tins/bag, ground coffee, coffee beans, coffee accessories, flavour syrups, cookies, biscotti and so much more. There was one table with four chairs but it was used to place inventory. We took our drinks to go. We ordered the Velvet Latte with Oat Milk and Pumpkin spice latte. The Velvet latte tasted very similar to a Spanish latte. The pumpkin spice was pretty good except I found the syrup to be a bit too strong for my taste buds. It's a good spot to try if you're in the area and want to try something different.

I was intrigued with their seasonal menu and I'm so glad I checked them out because their drinks were delicious and well rounded in flavour. Opted for their blueberry latte and peach jasmine cloud and both drinks were so delicious! The blueberry latte had a nice subtle blueberry flavour with the coffee. The peach jasmine cloud on the other hand was refreshing but had that savoury cheese foam on the top as well that worked well with the drink pairing. What a great local coffee shop with nicely curated drinks in Markham. Worth checking out for sure.

Slowly, the clear fruity aromas of honeydew melon and cantaloupe emerged, not overpoweringly acidic, but rather a gentle, restrained layering. It's the kind of coffee you find yourself drinking the whole pot without even realizing it. The space inside is also a big plus. The front area displays various coffee beans and related products, and a whole wall of transparent glass allows you to see the roasting factory in operation behind it. I ordered the large Fancy Matcha Latte, which is made with matcha, espresso, and coconut milk. The regular sugar is not too sweet, which is nice. I did taste the matcha and espresso, but not so much the coconut milk. The drink was decent. For $10 for a drink though, it's definitely on the pricier side for a coffee drink. I also purchased the set of 6 bear macarons. They are so cute! It's $23 for the set, no tax, and you're basically getting one for free since one macaron is $4.5. The macarons came frozen. I would come back and try out the other drinks, especially the non coffee drinks. Their specialty drinks sound good. Staff were really nice and they explained a lot of their menu to me.

When one must follow a gluten-free diet, it is so nice to find places where you can eat what everyone else gets to enjoy. This was anything but enjoyable. I was planning a little Halloween getaway to Kingston and searching for a new and exciting breakfast place to stop on my way there. I found Heaffles and read through their website--I'm always very careful and vet my restaurants before the trip and plan food meticulously, you have to when you cannot eat gluten. The site stated that if you want a gluten free waffle, you must call 24 hours ahead of time. I immediately thought that was ridiculous (that eliminates any possibility of a GF person walk-in from eating there) but messaged them on Instagram. I asked if I could message then and schedule or did a I have to call. They told me I must call the day before. Pain in the bum, but I set a reminder in my phone and did so. The next day, I show up. Such a cute place and the breakfast that kicks off a trip always makes me so happy. We don't eat out much at all, living so rurally. It had also been ages since I'd enjoyed a GF waffle, so excitement was high. This place has a ton of potential. The seating is cute, the bathrooms clean and so beautifully decorated. There is even a little cubby with cushions that would make it feel as though one was having breakfast in bed. I really did fall in love with the space. There didn't appear to me to be a traditional server comes to your table. You walk in and place your order at the counter. I ordered a Flat White to drink along with a water and a gluten-free coconut rush. The young lady at the counter was very quick to tell me that they had a customer coming in to get a GF waffle and that they only had enough batter for one waffle and that I would need to try again and call 24 hours beforehand. Right before I told her I was that customer, my brain was like, what? You have enough batter for ONE waffle??? I make GF stuff all the time. It is NOT that expensive. And what if you mess up that ONE waffle (and they did because she didn't listen to me)? I said, "Oh, I called yesterday." And I had driven a very long way. I would hate for anyone else to do that and end up disappointed. After that, I was allowed to order my waffle. Coconut is my favourite sweet flavour, but it came with strawberries and strawberry syrup. I told her THREE times I didn't want the strawberries or the syrup. Strawberry jam, jelly syrup...I hate them all, also cannot stand cooked fruit. She told me she could put the strawberries on the side and that they were uncooked. I said that was okay, but reiterated AGAIN that I do not want or like the strawberry syrup. I thought I might get my drinks at the counter, but she said they would bring everything to my table. I sat within view of the counter by the window. I assumed, as at most places, the drinks would come out first. I had started on the Terra Health heartburn kit to kick my PPI script and needed to take the supplements before eating. Some ladies came in after me and they got their drink order while I sat and waited. The waffle came out, and I was too panicked by not taking my supplements to pay that much attention and told them I needed some water and that I didn't have my coffee yet. They came back in a few minutes and in the meantime, I saw that the waffle I'd paid nearly $30 for, along with a very tiny flat white coffee, was drenched...every inch in yucky strawberry syrup. I'm a silver lining kind of girl, so I told myself to try it, maybe my tastes have changed. Nope. It was this strong, chemically strawberry flavour that made me gag. Talk about disappointed. At this point it was late in the morning and I was starving. I opened up the waffle (the size, even if they'd managed to listen to my order was not worth what I paid) and ate some of the filling out. The only waffle that had no nasty syrup was at the fold and I ate the four bites I could. The coffee was literally 3 swallows. I left hungry and angry. And in all that time, no one ever came back to ask me how the order was...and I knew I couldn't send it back because that was their ONE GF waffle batter of the day. I had to stop at Wendy's and spend another $10 for a bunless burger after. I would never go back. The ask and not having the batter available is beyond RIDICULOUS, despite the fact they don't listen, which makes a GF person VERY nervous. You couldn't pay me to eat there again. Poor service, poor value and food I couldn't stomach. Not for me.

I like the flavour of the espresso if you want something simple like an americano, but they're definitely more well known for their lattes. The handmade iced lemon tea is another favourable of mine and they ground fresh lemon to order. Basically I haven't had anything that is actively bad and I've been to all Togo coffee across the city, and I can say the quality is pretty consistent too. Just a note that most shops are to-go only, hence the name lol. For the best deal, try to see if they have promo on Fantuan or Food Panda, sometimes they do $2.99 drinks.

There was a woman with her two kids. They were going to Cotti Coffee through the restaurant. They held the door open for me. I thanked them as we all entered the restaurant. I noticed the latest Cotti Coffee offering. It was the double coconut collection. I was hungry and needed lunch. However, double coconut was calling out my name. I was intrigued. Our table was near the Cotti Coffee stall that is between the corridor to the washrooms and the tanks with live fish, lobster, and more. It's brilliant having a beverage place inside a restaurant. One of my friends and I are huge beverage people. We both got drinks after our meal to get us through the rest of the day. We were the only folks dining at the restaurant. It was fairly steady business at Cotti Coffee. My guess is that things get busier at the restaurant for dinner. Maybe folks getting a drink may want to do takeout. I would after dining at this restaurant! We both placed our orders online. My friend went first, as she had to go to work. She got a large iced stardust oat latte, which looked amazing. It had jelly in it. She told me later on that the coffee was strong, but she enjoyed this drink. If I had her drink, I'd probably not sleep for a full day. Before I left, I ordered a large iced strawberry matcha coco latte. There was the option to not add any sugar, which I chose. Fantuan gave me a pickup time of twenty minutes, which seemed excessive. The woman behind the counter was taking a breather. I decided to use the women's washroom and return to see if my order was ready. I got word that my order was ready in under ten minutes. Much better! I headed to the counter and matched the last three digits of my order with the receipt on the table next to my drink. I thanked the woman and grabbed my drink, thinking that it was in a sippy cup. She asked if I wanted a straw. I needed one, as it wasn't the type of drink that you could drink without one. Thank goodness my hearing is decent! The straw was a paper one and extremely sturdy. I poked it through the lid, stirred my drink, and had a sip. This drink was excellent. It had bits of strawberry in it. The matcha was smooth. The coconut beverage added a creaminess that I enjoyed. It was iced and delicious. On Fantuan, the regular size was discounted by 30%. I upgraded to a large, which came up to $6. Not too shabby! I'd come back and get more drinks. I like that it's a part of the restaurant. Timothy's is definitely more expensive than Tim Hortons and Second Cup and just a little bit cheaper than Starbucks. For these kind of prices, I do expect a lot. It was pretty busy at in the later half of 2:00pm presumably because of the deal. There was a little bit of a wait to order and definitely when waiting for our drinks since there was only one cashier and one barista working at that time. I was there with a couple so we were able to try 3 different drinks. The iced caramel latte had a nice consistency and was pretty tasty. Similar to an iced cappuccino from Tim's but smoother. The caramel latte had a strong espresso taste which I liked a lot. Our third drink was the sea salt hot chocolate which was a tad sweet. We actually wound up mixing the latte and the hot chocolate together to make an impromptu mocha which was actually really nice. If you really enjoyed your coffee, you can take it home with you to have at any time if you also have a Keurig machine. There's a huge selection of K-Cups that you can mix and match. They have a deal that's 24 cups for $15.99. There were also some jars of their signature hot chocolate that would make a great gift.

Timothys also has an impressive selection of baked goods such as loaf slices, muffins, croissants, scones, brownies, tarts, biscottis, hearty date squares, assorted cookies and my personal favourite the giant buttery toblerone shortbread cookies with a sweet dusting of powdered sugar on top. And if your feeling a little more peckish they also have breakfast sandwiches, toasted sandwiches on croissants or buns, bagels, and my other favourite the savoury spinach and feta stuffed croissants (get them warmed up).
