Previous months before I had obtained a breast reduction surgery and was in immense pain. I also herniated one of my discs. Using marijuana was the only way I could find comfort during this time. I also had a Massachusetts medical marijuana card at that point. None of that mattered. They kicked me out after making me attend three classes prior to telling me. I had written and essay and declined precious time with my friends as I had schoolwork that proved not important anymore. With all of that I was sent home. They gave me less than a week before moving all of my stuff out. Coincidentally two of my grandparents suffered strokes that week and I had to help my family with that. There was no care and they threatened to throw away all my belongings. After emailing my frustration to the president of the campus there was no regard for my mental well being. Saint Anselm college was one of the worst two year experience of my life as well as a gigantic waste of money. They also refused me a 15,000 dollar refund after only being there for two weeks. I dislike every educator and staff member there. They would rather have coked and pilled out students with borderline alcoholic disease running around them a girl who was just trying to deal with her pain. If I could give zero stars I would. Besides separating boys and girls from each other, being able to count all the people of color on one hand, racist and homophobic monks this is not the place you want to waste your money on. I had reached out for mental health help as well as academic and was denied that as well. I only have one friend from this experience. The rest of it was a complete waste of time. President favaza if you are reading this please give me back my refund as that was just rude. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ALSO FORCE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS DOWN EVERYONES THROATS

From the amazing food (and workers) in the dining hall to the traditional Sunday mass in the Abbey Church--there is a place for everyone to call home on campus. The curriculum made me a more well-rounded human and made me appreciate my faith and friends more than ever. There are opportunities to get involved in everything on campus. I played four years of varsity lacrosse, studied in Italy my junior fall, was an orientation leader for two years, went on a WBA service trip, worked a campus job in the dining hall, and enjoyed hanging out with my friends on the weekends. Anyone who attends SAC will definitely make a mark on the world.

Sure it gets a tad crowded in our one building. Sure the Worcester kids think they're better than us. But dammit, our tight-knit little classes actually want to HELP each other instead of competing 24/7. No one sees what we're REALLY doing over the TV screen. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. After more than 5 hours, the foiling process still wasn't complete. While I understood my student was learning, there appeared to be very little instructor guidance. When I expressed concerns about the length of the appointment the instructor was dismissive and simply offered to rinse out the bleach and let me leave. I remained there beyond 6 hours and past closing. I was the last customer there. My toner was processed for only a few minutes, and my conditioning treatment and haircut were not completed. The instructor approved the work, and I was sent to pay with soaking wet hair. When I questioned why the remaining services couldn't be completed and voiced my unhappiness, the instructor was quick to threaten to call the police if I did not pay. The school's Director informed me I was not welcome back and stated that customers should expect appointments to last 7.5+ hours. The final result left me with uneven, yellow hair that did not resemble what we discussed. My roots were not properly blended, and I now need to spend over $300 to correct the color. Empire Beauty School demonstrated poor instructor oversight, poor communication, and a lack any sense of accountability.

While the staff does not act professional and still work, but they will kick students out of the school for not punching in and out of lunch accidentally. Empire said it is there policy and they are trying to get the students ready for the real world. Something is very backwards. I am told they are just accusations when students have seen the proof. Empire doesn't even investigate the employees. They sit there and just say it is accusations.

The education I received from Laird is taught with such clarity, thought, and personalization that I learned so much more than I ever thought possible. Very clean and eye appealing to send a kid to. I can't speak for any education aspects of the school but looking at the drama club, they are serious about learning. Some of these singers....? Wow, they're going someplace with those voices, I'm glad my cousins a part of this.
